my favorite season. the reflection, the release. the growth that comes from stillness.

join us as we gather in community during this sacred time of year where the barriers between the physical and spiritual worlds break down, allowing deeper connection to our departed loved ones & our past selves. we’ll allow this connection to guide us in releasing the unwanted aspects of our personal year so that these too might be transformed.

in this ritual we will:
-ground with a welcoming meditation and an herbal tea crafted for this special occasion
-build a community altar and allow silent time to reflect on and communicate with our departed loved ones and our former selves
-take the messages received during the altar building to help us identify what parts of our personal year we’d like to release & transform
-craft a spell jar with herbs and other earth materials to aid us in that transformation
-participate in a ritual cauldron burn to offer a thank you to our loved ones for joining us & wish them a peaceful farewell.

*please bring photos or any other items that remind you of your loved ones. these will be placed on our community altar, and returned to you at the end of the ritual.

*dress comfortably & in layers. ritual will take place on our patio and it can be unpredictably warm or chilly this time of year.

*please bring a blanket or cushion to sit on-while chairs are sometimes available, they are not guaranteed.

all other materials will be provided. link in bio for tickets, investment: $25

workshops and rituals tickets are non-refundable. if you find that you cannot attend, please feel free to gift your spot to a friend. 🤍

today’s office: the woods 🤍

up before the sun, wandering for miles so we wouldn’t harvest too much from each stand, carrying heavy baskets, and now home to wash, dry, remove stems, and prep elder elixir.

so many lessons learned in this first season of growing. simultaneously proud of what we’ve been able to offer and still knowing how much more we’re capable of. fall garden seeds are planted and we keep moving forward, ready to see what growth is on the horizon. 🤍

a small, sweet, old, orange lion bringing just the right energy-it rained on the peak of the lion’s gate portal. in AUGUST! in SACRAMENTO! magic is happening, we just have to pay attention to it.

welcome to our next ritual gathering!

on 8/8 we enter the lion’s gate portal, an alignment of energy that enhances spiritual awareness, brings about abundance, and allows us to shed our past selves, step into a higher existence, and manifest an abundant life.

in our gathering we will:

ground in community with a gratitude meditation

craft a tea together (with herbs from the garden!)

sip our tea while we build mini fall gardens, infusing our manifestations inside the soil. you’ll get to take these home and watch them grow, a physical reminder that manifesting is just one step in achieving our desires. we also need water (nourishment), and sun (energy), and rest.

we’ll conclude with a silent meditation around a cauldron fire

it seems completely unimportant to share anything on social media except for my pal weasley getting his daily sprig of catnip. i wake up early, we snuggle on the porch until its light enough for me to walk to the garden. he greets me when i return, and it’s just the sweetest way to spend the morning.🥹🥹

turn the volume up to hear his crispy old man meows and his *purr*🥰🥰

what i’m doing instead of assisting customers in the shop or preparing for the market tomorrow.

also i hate it, and am going to move it when i can bring in a full sized ladder and not risk my life on a rickety chair i pilfered from the neighbor 😂
