“How do we make a new belly button?” 👀
Usually, we don’t! For a tummy tuck or DIEP flap reconstruction, we typically use your own belly button and give it a new location.
But this patient had a large umbilical hernia, so her situation was different. Since creating a beautiful, natural-looking belly button was a priority, we created a new one as part of her transformation.
