God has an amazing way of creating life events. I was asked to sit in our ATP house guest's player box for him bc USTA player dev. coaches must remain neutral when 2 Americans play each other. A father-son duo came in quickly as warmup started when they saw empty seats w/o seeing the coach signs. The dad quickly moved down to front row but his son refused to move. Slowly we bonded during changeovers over tennis & his dog. After the match I offered his dad the opportunity to bring him to meet Nishesh who graciously signed his ball for him & snapped a photo. Two days later, I am in our office and there he was! He is an orthodontic patient of Doug's! When he came in today, he wanted me to have a copy of our photo together and to see new photos of his dog, Roco! Honored and grateful to have him now as a friend!
