Lexington Services DTA members recently spent their Wednesday exploring the Show Low Historical Society Museum, checking out local exhibits, miniature train displays, and pieces of White Mountains history.

For some members, it was their first visit. For others, it was finally getting the chance to enjoy an outing they had previously chosen but could not attend.

These community experiences are about more than where we go. They create opportunities to make choices, ask questions, build confidence, connect with others, and practice everyday life skills in real-world settings.

For a recent Wednesday outing, Lexington Services DTA members chose a visit to the Show Low Historical Society Museum, and it was well worth the wait.

Members explored local history, checked out miniature train displays, asked questions, shared reactions, and for some, experienced the museum for the very first time.

This Wednesday, Lexington Services DTA members chose lunch at Show Low City Park, and apparently lunch was only the beginning.

There were slides. Swings. Fresh air. Time with friends. And plenty of fun along the way.

๐Ž๐ง๐ž ๐ฆ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ž๐ ๐ข๐ญ ๐ฎ๐ฉ ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐Ÿ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ฅ๐ฒ: โ€œI like the air out here.โ€

Another simply said, โ€œI had a good time, and it was fun.โ€

And really, thatโ€™s the whole point.

Choice matters. Community matters. Getting out, spending time with your people, and enjoying a beautiful Arizona day matters too.
