You just had a colonic… now what? 💩✨
What you do after your session matters! Your body has just spent 45 minutes slowing down, relaxing, hydrating the colon and moving some things along. Give yourself a little grace before jumping straight back into GO mode.
Here are a few things I recommend avoiding immediately after your colonic 👇
1️⃣ Going straight for a huge, heavy meal
You don’t need to be afraid of food after a colonic, but this probably isn’t the moment for the greasiest, heaviest meal of your life. 😂 Start with something that feels nourishing and easy on your digestion—soups, cooked veggies, fruit, oatmeal, rice, potatoes, quality protein, etc.
2️⃣ Forgetting to hydrate
Your hydration needs don’t stop when you leave my table! Keep sipping water throughout the day, and adding electrolytes can be a great option too.
And yes… maybe give the celebratory cocktails a minute. 😉🍹
3️⃣ Immediately crushing a hard workout
Can you exercise after a colonic? Usually, yes. But pay attention to how YOU feel. Some people leave ready to conquer the world, while others feel like their body is asking for a slower afternoon.
Walking, stretching and gentle movement are great options if you’re feeling a little tired or relaxed.
4️⃣ Ignoring your body’s cues
This might be the biggest one.
Some people leave feeling energized and light. Others feel hungry, tired, emotional, relaxed—or ready for a nap. There isn’t one “correct” way to feel afterward.
Listen to your body. Feed it. Hydrate it. Rest if you need to. Move if that feels good.
Your colonic isn’t about punishing your body or “undoing” everything you’ve eaten.
It’s an opportunity to slow down, support your body, and actually pay attention to what it’s telling you. 🤍
And THAT is something I want you practicing long after you leave my table. 💩✨
