We are on the hunt for music-loving volunteers to join our booth at the Lallycooler music festival! You'll get FREE same-day entry to the festival, a volunteer t-shirt, and refreshments during your shift.

Shifts available July 10 and 11 and volunteer training provided on July 6.

Borrow. Heal. Return.

We've recently had some great younger volunteers because school is out and summer is in full swing. One of the them asked if we had a slogan and I mentioned we have a mission statement but not a slogan.

In response, another one said, "Borrow. Heal. Return." A group of adults heard it and thought was pretty great so I wanted to share.

Getting the next generation involved brings challenges but it also brings a ton of joy. Seeing them learn, grow, and find value in volunteering is incredible but they also bring a fresh perspective and it can be amazing.

If you're brainstorming ideas for your kids this summer please consider volunteering somewhere, anywhere. It will make a difference in their lives, the life of the organization, and the lives of those they serve. And they might just bring some unexpected insight with them.

Our family got to enjoy a trip to beautiful Colorado this week. This was only possible because of our new warehouse manager and our amazing volunteers. I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who continues to keep Owen's Outfitters moving forward.

This trip is also a good reminder that taking care of yourself matters. We all need time to rest, recharge, and return with renewed energy for the work we're passionate about.

Thank you to our volunteers for stepping up, and thank you to everyone who supports our mission! Your time, dedication, and heart make it possible for us to serve individuals and families in need every day!

As Memorial Day approaches, all of us at Owen’s Outfitters want to take a moment to both remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

We are humbled by the sacrifices made for the freedoms we enjoy every day. Thank you to all who have given everything to this county.

We will be closed 5/24 and 5/25. Wishing everyone a safe Memorial Day weekend.

We don't always think of exercise equipment as a healthcare item but for many it's crucial. They're often used for rehab, post-surgical recovery, weight loss, and more.

That's why we accept these items at Owen's Outfitters and (as always) lend them out for free. If you know someone in need please send them our way. We're currently overstocked and would love to find it a good home!

Medical equipment is often amazing and built to last for years. That means there is usually a lot of life left in it after someone recovers from an accident or surgery. We get to be that link connecting two people and keeping these items out of the landfill.

Everyone wins. The donor gets an unneeded piece of equipment out of the house, the recipient gets the equipment they require, the planet gets fewer items in the landfill, and the community health improves. Plus, we all save money when we reuse instead of having insurance, the individual, the government, or the healthcare system buying new every time.
