But how often should you get your hearing checked? 🤔

✅ For anyone 18-60 years old we recommend every 3-5 years

✅ while those over 60 years old should have their hearing tested annually.

✅If you have either a sudden change in your hearing or hear ringing or buzzing in your ears.

As a result of a childhood injury, an over the ear hearing aid would not work for this patient 😔

So we work our magic to provide him a custom fit aid instead (that pink stuff is used to take a mold impression of the ear).

Dr Mandy here….Can you believe it’s been 8 years since we started this adventure! What started as a conversation about the desire to do something more to help people, quickly transpires into this crazy idea of “hey let’s start a business”!

I never imagined we would be here today doing exactly that. We are beyond blessed and grateful for the tools God has given us to help others struggling with hearing loss. Our day to day appointments are not just about helping others to cope with hearing loss, it’s also building relationships to navigate this thing called life.

I used to think my hearing loss was detriment to me, but over time I learned it was a gift to be able to share with others. The world can be a dark place and my hope is that we can be the salt and light for those who come through our doors. The past 8 years has been quite the adventure and we look forward to many more years and relationships! At SFAA there are never enough thank yous for all of your support 💕
