8 Years. 3 Offices. Countless Blessings.
Today marks 8 years in practice, and as I reflect on this journey, one thing is abundantly clear: God has been faithful every step of the way.
When I first opened my doors, I had dreams, a calling, and a lot of questions. Looking back, I can see how God has consistently provided exactly what I needed, which was not always when I wanted it, but always in His perfect timing.
Over the years, I’ve been blessed to care for incredible patients, serve amazing communities, and build relationships that have shaped me both professionally and personally. The number of phone calls, coffee meetings, texts, and conversations with colleagues who have willingly shared their wisdom is truly astonishing. So much of who I am as a chiropractor and business owner today has been influenced by people God strategically placed in my life.
This year, I find myself reflecting especially on Dr. Brandt. His friendship, faith, and passion for serving others left a lasting impact on our office and on my life. While I wish he were here celebrating this milestone with us, I am grateful for the years we worked side by side and for the lessons he taught me about faith, perseverance, and caring for people well.
This morning’s devotional couldn’t have been more fitting:
“Your Kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” — Matthew 6:10
The devotional reminded me that God’s will for our lives is simply to trust Him daily and follow where He leads. When I think about these last 8 years, that’s really been the story. There have been moments of uncertainty, growth, heartbreak, joy, and countless answered prayers. Through it all, God has continued to lead, provide, and open doors I never could have opened myself.
So today, I’m simply grateful.
Grateful for God.
Grateful for my patients.
Grateful for my family and friends.
Grateful for my staff and colleagues.
Grateful for the communities of Lennox, Sioux Falls, and Flandreau.
And grateful for every person who has been part of this journey.
Here’s to 8 years of serving others, following His calling, and trusting His plan for whatever comes next.
To God be the glory.
