I LOVE IT WHEN THIS FB MEMORY POPS UP!

We use to call him our little butterball. The first few weeks of Will’s arrival were an overwhelming whirlwind. An unexpected NICU stay followed by a lifelong diagnosis. But here we are 12 years later!
💫✨💫

I’m grateful our NICU stay was shorter than most, but it was the longest 10 days of our lives, especially with a 2 year old & 4 year old at home! 🫣

This life experience definitely contributes to my passion for postpartum support. 💖✨💫

YOU GUYS! I’M SO PROUD TO BE WITH THIS MAMA FOR A SECOND TIME!! 💫

I was lucky enough to meet “big” brother about 20 months ago & today I met little brother too — my oh my what a sweetheart!!! & he’s got an amazing 3 week old newborn scrunch!!! 💙🩵🤍

Mama has her work cut out for her with 2 under 2 & WOW!! 🤩 She is doing an amazing job!! So proud of her & looking forward to assisting mom & dad as they transition to a family of 4!! 💫

Carrot Fertility has a very distinct process to complete in order to be listed in their doula directory. I am grateful to Carrot for upholding the professional standards for our doula community & proud to have completed this process! 💫

Most of all I LOVE that my families have a chance for reimbursement as a Carrot Member! While I wish that every birther had a postpartum doula assigned to them at birth, this is definitely a step in the right direction! 💫

I DID IT!! 💫

But Mandie, you’ve been a registered nurse for 21 YEARS, why did you need a postpartum training program you ask?

Because there is always more to LEARN & always room to GROW!! ✨

PLUS I learned that many insurance companies will now reimburse YOU for my postpartum doula services if I have the “official” certification!!! Hooray!! 🥳

This training took me almost 2 years!!
Yep, you read that right. Work, kids, life…whew it’s a challenge to be an adult learner!! So thankful that Childbirth International allows you to move at your own pace —but any movement is progress & it feels so good to FINALLY cross the finish line!! 💫

Thank you soooo much for all of your constant, unwavering support & for ALWAYS believing in me! 💫

DOULA DATE with MY GIRL
CPR/FIRST AID CERTIFICATION TRAINING ⛑️

Spent the afternoon completing a great training through the ⛑️

No one I’d rather practice my skills with! And while we both hope to never use them, it feels good to have the refresher so we’re ready if needed!
(Fun fact- doing chest compressions to the beat of ‘Staying Alive’ keeps you in the correct rhythm!)
