Hi from California!

I’ve been away on a sacred feminine retreat with this week. I am writing this email from my mentor’s home in California, where I have been co-leading a retreat with a group of women I have been journeying with for more than ten years.

And here is what I know to be true...

We need each other. Women need each other. We cannot walk this life alone. We are not meant to.

Right now, almost every woman I know (including myself) is standing at a threshold in her life. Something is changing. The tectonic plates of our lives are shifting.

An old way of being is no longer fitting.

A season is ending.

A child is leaving.

A relationship is ending.

A career is shifting.

Her voice and truth are finally being spoken.

And yet so often, we move through these threshold moments alone.

What I know is that when we choose to walk alone, it becomes very hard to hear our truth. Sacred sisterhood becomes a mirror. We hold the mirror up for one another so that we can see who we truly are. We are reminded of our own courage. We are reminded that we can do this, that we do know the way.

This week, in the arms of women I love, I am reminded who I really am. I am reminded that I can, and I will, and I am doing what I know I am here to do. The sacred mirror reflects back my own strength and courage.

So I invite you into the arms of a sisterhood to hold you at your threshold moment.

Next Sunday, June 7th, I will be leading Sanctuary Sunday, where we will gather inside Her Sanctuary for a morning of ceremony, reflection, connection, and sacred feminine practice devoted to the thresholds we are currently standing within in our lives.

What is The Practice?

I realized many women in our community still don't fully know what The Practice actually is.

The Practice is a sacred feminine journey I developed over ten years ago, and I am bringing it now to Her Sanctuary as a deeper body of work for the woman ready for more.

It's not a class, a workshop, or a drop-in experience.

It's a transformational journey and ceremonial experience of deepening into yourself and remembering who you are.

It's for women wanting the deeper work.
The deeper sisterhood.
The deeper dive into her truth.

For women moving through change, awakening, grief, healing, transformation, and becoming.

In The Practice we gather together, week after week, throughout a season, in a small group with the same women. This is where the power is.

Unlike a one-time workshop or drop-in experience, The Practice is designed as a transformational journey that unfolds over time, building upon itself as we move through cycles of shedding, death, rebirth, and becoming.

We reconnect to ourselves beneath the noise, conditioning, roles, and expectations of the world.

Through ritual, embodiment, ceremony, archetypal work, authentic sharing, and sisterhood, we begin remembering who we truly are.

We spiral inward, releasing old versions of ourselves and finding the courage to step more fully into who we are becoming.

Through the arms of each other, we remember.

This is not personal development.
This is initiation.

Each season of The Practice becomes a threshold:
A shedding.
A remembering.
A becoming.

Meet the Goddess of Gratitude.

She lives here in SE Portland, watching over us through the windows of our new space. Her hair is made of over 1,000 living plants—wild, tender, alive. And she looks right at you.

She is the view from Her Sanctuary. The first thing you see when you look outside from our ceremonial lounge. A quiet, living reminder to soften, to pause, to give thanks.

I found her on a quiet walk one afternoon, and something in me softened. I knew she belonged here.

This space is for ceremony. For lounging. For brewing tea and letting it all fall away. A feeling of sanctuary. A home. A cool place to gather.

A place to hold our tears and our fears. A place to hold a community of women aching for somewhere to belong.

Right now, it's clear we need each other more than ever. The world is heavy. And in my experience, community and deep connection are the medicine we need.
