A Mystery School isn’t school in the traditional sense.

It’s a place to remember.

To slow down enough to hear your own voice again. To gather in ceremony and ancient sacred feminine practice. To unravel the patterns that have taught us to disconnect from ourselves and return to a more aligned way of living.

A practice of remembrance.

A deep devotion to the divine within.

A kind of church for the feminine soul.

This is the work we are deepening into together at Her Sanctuary.

Portland women, we are standing at a threshold.

Everything is up for question right now.

We are aching to live a more aligned true life. But we don’t really know how to fully step into who we truly are.

We are longing for a place to return to. A place to study ourselves. Not through books and homework but through ceremony, sacred feminine practice,and through the arms of each other.

A place to remember who we are beneath generations of conditioning.

This is the vision behind the Her Sanctuary Mystery School.

Tomorrow, I’ll share more about what I mean when I say a “modern Mystery School”.

For the past few months, something has been quietly unfolding at Her Sanctuary.

I’ve been standing at my own edge, finding the courage to finally say out loud what we are really creating here.

It feels big.

And yet, it also feels like what we’ve all been longing for.

A deeper way to gather.

A deeper way to practice.

A deeper way to walk beside one another in sisterhood and devotion.

This is for the women who know, deep in their bones, that we are living in a time of profound transformation. Women who are ready to rise, lead, and return home to themselves.

In many ways, this is my own leap of faith.

I’m finally stepping fully into who I am and sharing the deeper vision behind this mighty little movement we’ve been building together here in Portland.

I know it has the power to change lives.

Tomorrow morning, I’ll be sharing everything here in a video.

And if you’re free this Friday evening, I’d love for you to join us at our Fireside Welcome Circle. I’ll be sharing the vision in person, telling the story of how Her Sanctuary came to be, and giving you a glimpse of what comes next.

Portland women, we need each other more than ever right now!

This week the wildfire smoke has reminded me once again how important local community is right now.

Community is not a luxury. Community is medicine. Especially when we are living through tumultuous times.

And the world is not getting any less crazy anytime soon.

We need each other to remember our strength.

One of the most amazing things happening at Her Sanctuary is the women rising up in our Sacred Social Club as leaders.

Inside our club members are raising their hands for more. They want to be a part of the growth and the community that is building, so they are stepping into what we call Hearth Tenders, members who help tend the hearth, and hold space inside the club.

This week Vanessa Durst Brookhouse kicked off our Walking Club. Once a month we meet up in beautiful places to walk, connect, and just be with each other.

Odessa Schuler-Trujillo kicked off our Book Club last month which is already on fire!

We love seeing members step into leadership because our intention is for our Social Club to feel like home.

Where you get to show up to cool events throughout the month, and when you do, you see familiar faces, connect easily, and know you are in the right place.

We are here not to be an event space, but to be a true community of sisterhood and belonging. Something you return to again and again.

As women we’ve forgotten the art of sisterhood, but we are changing that.

Our community leaders are deeply devoted to the Sacred Feminine and bring their unique gifts, wisdom, and lived experience into the temple.

✨ Meet Francine Gonzalez ()
Artist, Reiki Master, and Sound Healer of Mexican and Native American descent. Through art, energy, and sound, Francine guides women back to their bodies and authentic power.

✨ Meet Starshine ()
Ordained Scent and 13 Moon Priestess, Medicine Woman, and Her Sanctuary Lineage Leader. A lifelong seeker of truth, Star creates spaces of deep presence, intimacy, and transformation through her open heart and grounded wisdom.

✨ Meet Fernanda Parra-Chico (.flowering)
Mother, storyteller, and threshold tender from Mexico. Through story, song, and ceremony, Fernanda guides women in reconnecting with their voice, body, and ancient feminine wisdom, honoring each season of life and becoming.

Together, these incredible women help hold our community with care, devotion, and love. We are so grateful for the wisdom, presence, and sacred leadership they bring to Her Sanctuary.
