As I enter my 8th year as an Integrative Health Coach, I've been reflecting on one thing I've learned over and over again:

Most people don't need more information. They need less overwhelm.

Between social media, fad diets, conflicting nutrition advice, and the latest health trends, it's easy to feel confused about what actually matters.

That's why I'm bringing it back to the basics....back to the foundations.

☑️How do we read a food label and know what's actually in the food we're eating?
☑️How do we separate marketing from meaningful nutrition information?
☑️How do we make healthier choices at the grocery store?
☑️How do we recognize what our bodies are trying to tell us through cravings, energy crashes, and digestive issues... and what can we do about it?

The truth is, better health isn't built through perfection. It's built through small habits practiced consistently over time.

To help you get started, I've created a FREE Metabolic Health Starter Kit filled with practical tools, simple strategies, healthy recipes, a grocery guide, and a 7-day challenge to help you focus on what matters most.

And this is just the beginning...

🌱 Coming at the end of June, I'll be opening registration for Strong Foundations, a 6-week rotating metabolic health program.

As a small group, these sessions will meet weekly (in person and online options available) and focus on one simple habit at a time while covering:

Bryana from Gaining Grit Health & Healing LLC and I are teaming up again for one of our favorite ways to kick off summer… the Mindful Mile Club!

This is a 6-week series designed to help you get moving, build consistency, and create a simple rhythm that actually sticks… without overthinking it or trying to overhaul your entire routine.

We’ve built it to fit real life. Each week includes three scheduled group walks:

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 12:15–12:45 power hour lunch walks (a chance to step away, reset, and actually take your lunch break😉)
• Tuesday: 5:30–6:00 p.m. evening walks
• Thursday: 10:00–10:30 a.m. morning walks

That’s three built-in opportunities each week to show up for yourself and get moving with support and accountability.

And we’re layering in even more support along the way. Bryana will be sharing weekly movement videos to help you keep your body strong, supported, and moving well. I’ll be sharing weekly nutrition tips, simple recipes, and small challenges to help you feel your best from the inside out.

So really… we’ve got all the bases covered.

May was full… in the best kind of way 🌿

A month of community, continued learning, movement, connection, and helping people take simple steps toward feeling better.

This month looked like…

🍯 Restocking local raw honey
🥜 Hosting a healthy snack + energy bite make-and-take for a corporate wellness event
📚 Continuing education on GLP-1s, metabolic health, and entrepreneur training
🌸 Leading a Blend + Breathe class at The Hub with essential oil sprays and guided meditation
🚶‍♀️ Kicking off a workplace walking group and helping people reconnect with movement in a simple, approachable way
🎓 Wrapping up the graduating class of Leadership West Bend and getting to witness the incredible community projects, collaboration, and future leaders helping shape our community

And behind the scenes…

✨ Welcoming 3 new clients into my Metabolic Foundations program
✨ Wrapping up a client journey and celebrating the progress, consistency, and wins that came with it

Sometimes progress looks big.
Sometimes it looks like small daily habits repeated over time.

Either way… it matters.

Grateful for every conversation, every class, every client, and every opportunity to support healthier lifestyles in ways that feel realistic and sustainable.♥️

With grocery prices continuing to rise, we don’t want food waste or spoilage to be the reason we reach for less nourishing options. Here's one of my favorite simple shifts: storing cut fruit in mason jars (I ❤️a pretty container presentation 😉)

It sounds basic, but it works ➡️when fruit is stored in a sealed glass jar, it’s exposed to less air. That slower exposure to oxygen can help reduce browning and keep produce fresher for longer in the fridge.

🍓It also makes healthy choices more visible and convenient… which matters more than we think. Open the fridge, see ready-to-eat fruit, and it’s much easier to actually eat it

A few easy favorites for mason jars:
• Berries
• Grapes
• Melons
• Pre-cut apples (with a squeeze of lemon)

Small systems like this help stretch your grocery budget and make healthy eating feel more effortless during a busy week. Simple. Practical. Supportive.🌱
