Halfway there! Week 3 is in the books for our Summer Cool Down League. We had 22 players join in on the fun evening! We had two brand new players join us for the first time, Jordan and Sara, welcome to the fun! We also had some familiar faces join us for the first time in a few months!

Our top flippers group was led by Matthew W who secured his second perfect 35 point night in a row. Sean T posting 31 points on the night for second place. Michael M, Rod S, and Chris R who all secured 29 point nights each. And rounding out the top flippers group was Mary Alice H and Charlie W who both ended with 25 points a piece.

Next Wednesday 9/9 at 7pm will be week 4 of league followed by Saturday 9/12 at Noon we will be hosting Beach Bash 24! More details to come. Stay tuned.

Week 2 of the Summer Cool Down league has come and gone! We had 20 players in attendance for a fun evening of flipping the silver ball. We got to celebrate birthdays for Sean and Noah on the night which made it even more fun!

Our top flipper of the evening and being the second person on a row to post a perfect night with 35 points was Matthew W. Noah G was so close to a perfect night ending in 2nd with 33 points on the evening. Dale B was close on Noah’s heels as he ended his night with a solid 31 points! In 4th we had a tie with Bryan R and Sean T who both ended with 29 points a piece. And rounding out our top flippers group on the evening we had Anthony P and Malikai A who both ended with 23 points!

We are back at it Wednesday 9/2 at 7pm for week 3! If you know anyone interested in joining in on the fun bring ‘em along and let them know first timers get free entry to their first event! We hope to pack the house again and we cannot wait to see you all next week!

Wednesday nights are back in full action! This past Wednesday we started Week 1 of our Summer Cool Down league! We had 20 players in attendance and we welcomed 5 new players on the night! Welcome Brian A, Malakai A, Rod S, Terry D, and Andy D! Ending the night off with a bang, our New player Malakai A ended as our top flipper of the evening while also putting up a perfect 35 point night. In second we had Chris R ending his night with 29 points. Dalton H and Bryan R were tied for 3rd with 27 points. Rounding out our top flippers of the evening group was Hunter D who had a nice 25 points on the night.

Join us for week 2 on August 26th at 7pm. $1 entry fee plus coin drop for 5 games. Mark your calendars for 2-2.5 hours of fun and we will see you all next week!

Wednesday night we had our Summer League finals where the top 8 seeds duked it out in a group elimination bracket. We played 3 games per round with PAPA scoring (4-2-1-0), where the top two players from each group would move onto the final 4. Starting off the night we had a tie breaker to see who would take the 8th seed between Charlie W and Dave N! Charlie took the W on triple strike to make it into finals.

Round 1 in Group 1 Matthew W and after a tie breaking win Anthony P moved into the final 4. In Group 2 Dale B and Sean T were the ones to move into the final 4. After 3 games in the finals on Iron Maiden, Diner, and Pokémon it was Matthew W who ended with 6 points and took the league win! Anthony, Dale and Sean were all tied with 5 points, and in true pinball fashion we took it to a tie breaking game for position on Metallica. All three players got played by the tough Metallica vs the players actually playing Metallica. They each crawled their way across the finish after ball 3. It was Sean T who ended up in 2nd with his win on Metallica with about 8 million points. Anthony ended in 3rd after scoring about 7.6 Million on Metallica and Dale finished off the podium in 4th ending with about 7.2 million on Metallica!

Congrats to Matthew for another huge yearly win! Keep up the good work! Here is the podium standings.

Week 1 of our Wednesday Night Summer Cool Down League takes off next Wednesday 8/19/2026 at 7pm. Remember Al, ages and all skill levels are welcome! We love to teach and welcome new players into the community all the time, so grab a few friends and join us for our next League!

Monday evening we hosted our monthly Stern Army Matchplay tournament! We had 16 players join us, and one new player to the Backyard Arcade! Welcome to the pinball community Thomas! We played 5 rounds of Matchplay with a single final game for the top 4 to decide our winner. Before the finals got started we spun for the Stern translite winner, which was Matthew W who chose John Wick as his prize!

Heading into the finals we had a 4 player tie for 2nd, so in fun pinball fashion we had a playoff to send the top three finishers into the final battle! The finals game was chosen by our good friend the random number generator and Tales of the Arabian Nights was the game. After scratching and clawing to get any points going we were down to our final drain on ball 3. The Grand Champion on the night was Matthew W finishing in first! Mary Alice H put up a great showing on the night and got herself a nice 2nd place finish. Anthony P was close, but not close enough to take 2nd place as he finished in 3rd. And bringing up the rear we had Sean T closing out the podium in 4th place.

Come out tonight at 7pm for our free entry side tourney as we host our Summer League finals for the top 8 seeded players from the last 6 weeks.

Wednesday night we had 18 players in attendance for week 4 of Summer League! This league we have been doing something a little new, but fun. We stream one game per night and every group gets to play that game in their weekly arena draw. This weeks game was Rush! We also had Anonda and Austin join in on the fun for their first league night at Backyard Arcade.

After 5 games were played our top flippers of the evening consisted of Kristen M and Sean T at the top with 29 points on the night. Coming in hot tied for 3rd we had Dale B and Charlie W who both ended with 27 on the night. And rounding out our top flippers group on the evening we had Dave N ending his evening with a nice 26 points.

We are set for week 5 of 6, Wednesday 7/29 at 7 pm. Interested in joining in on the fun? Entry fee is only $1 and we play 5 games for a whopping total of $6 for a few hours of fun. Where else can you find a deal like that? I’ll give you the answer…. It’s nowhere, so join us for a fun Wednesday night every Wednesday at 7. All ages and all skill levels are welcome, we will teach you and get you up to speed 🛸🏛️

Monday night was our Stern Army monthly Monday pinball tournament. We had 12 players join us for a night of head to head matches where each player got to play 10 different opponents on the evening. We also had a random drawing for a Stern Metallica translite which went to, Miles K who traveled u from SC with his dad and brother on a summer Monday night! Congrats Miles!

After our 10 games were all finishing up we ended up having a tie at the top with two players who both had 8 wins out of 10. Mary Alice H and Sean T had to go to the random number generator for game choice and player position on Tales of the Arabian Nights. After a close battle between the two is was Sean T who was able to seal the win! Our podium on the evening looked as such!
