A little shift because โ€ฆ guess what ?!
WEโ€™RE MOVING! ๐Ÿ›ป

The lease is signed. And Iโ€™m busy working my b***y off to get the space ready for classes coming in JULY! So Iโ€™m adjusting the schedule a bit (taking away Tuesday evenings) so that I have time and energy to get everything ready for our next chapter.

Until then. Come flow with me at Armstrong Irish Dance Academy twice a week for the next couple weeks before the opening of the

This is a space where you remember who you are and realize you are enough.

Join me for gentle yoga classes designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and breathe a little deeper.

Tuesday evenings @ 5:30. The Exhale is for everyone who needs a soft place to land at the end of the day.

And a couple other small adjustments to the schedule to practice what I preach and leave some room for my own practice, rest, enjoyments, and curiosities.

I think about it sometimes โ€ฆ how photos of class could help people find me, could show what this looks like from the outside. Good marketing, probably.

But I can't quite get there.

People show up on their mats on the anniversary of a loss. The day after a hard phone call. After a win they haven't told anyone about yet. When they feel completely lost, or when something in their body finally said enough.

Everyone in that room is there for a reason that's entirely their own.

What happens in class isn't content. It's people meeting themselves โ€ฆ sometimes the parts they've been avoiding for years.

So if you've ever wondered why my feed doesn't look like a typical yoga studio's feed, that's why.

What I can tell you is this: no one is watching you in my classes. No one is comparing or performing or waiting for their turn to be seen.

You are held here. You are safe to feel what you actually feel here.

That's the whole point.

Memorial Day asks us to slow down. To feel what weโ€™re honoring instead of just marking it on a calendar.

Research on veterans and yoga has found meaningful improvements in PTSD symptoms, sleep, and quality of life. These improvements are not from pushing harder, but from learning to settle.

Thatโ€™s what this practice is built for.

Tomorrow morning Iโ€™m holding Embodied Morning, a gentle flow class from 9:30 to 10:30. No intensity, no hustle. Just movement, breath, and a little space to remember to carry the day with intention.
