An estimated 140,000 K-12 students across Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and Lake Counties face food insecurity. While school meals help during the week, weekends can mean going hungry.
This is your chance to make a difference!
🏁 Gather your coworkers, classmates, friends, or family and join Central Florida's first-ever Race to Feed, organized by the Kate & Justin Rose Foundation - Blessings in a Backpack Central Florida Chapter.
On Saturday, July 25, from 11 AM to 3 PM, teams of up to ten people will go head-to-head at the Center for Health & Wellbeing in Winter Park in a friendly competition to pack 5,000 bags of food for local students facing hunger over the weekends.
Every bag packed will provide kids with 1-2 weekends of food to fuel the start of the new school year.
The Winter Park Health Foundation is honored to serve as venue sponsor for this event through our Open Doors program and to help get the word out through our WPHF Amplifies initiative.
The deadline for team registration is July 17, so be sure to sign up soon!
