There is so much good information in this article including the idea that the structural body, functional body, and energetic or informational body all work together.
"Often what hinders energetic modalities is the attempt to explain them. Understandably, practitioners want their work to be accepted as legitimate, so they attempt to explain effects and processes through the current lens. But the story doesn’t always match current anatomical or physiological understanding, so it gets filed away as pseudoscience. This doesn’t mean that effects and results aren’t happening. It just means that the current understanding or available explanation does not yet adequately describe the phenomena. "
While I do not always understand how the energetic modalities work, I know from personal experience and testimonials of my clients that they do work- effectively.
By integrating structural, functional, and energetic perspectives into my practice, I have been able to help clients work through challenges, supporting them more fully, and continuing to grow as a practitioner. This particular integration has helped me offer the unique experience that one only can receive at Balanced Tree Reflexology.
Energy work can be a divisive topic in the massage field, however, there are valuable potential benefits and insights to be gained through exploring and integrating energetic modalities in therapeutic practice.
