During perimenopause and menopause, hormonal changes may influence sleep, mood, energy, temperature regulation, sexual health, and overall well-being. Because symptoms, health history, and clinical goals vary, care should be approached individually.

For some patients, discussions with a healthcare provider may include hormone therapy and whether a compounded formulation is appropriate for their specific needs.

Last Friday, October 2, Central Ohio Compounding Pharmacy was proud to attend the 5th Annual Pediatric Dermatology Symposium! 👩‍⚕️

We appreciated the opportunity to connect with local healthcare professionals and discuss how customized compounding may support the unique medication needs of pediatric dermatology patients. From patient-specific strengths and dosage forms to options that may accommodate certain ingredient sensitivities, compounding gives prescribers additional flexibility when commercially available medications do not meet an individual patient’s needs.
