Another busy and rewarding week at West Park School has come to an end! Our learners and staff have continued to embrace opportunities for learning, creativity, participation and personal growth.

♻️ Promoting a Cleaner, Greener Community

West Park School is proud to be part of the eThekwini Municipality's Divert for My Kasi Initiative. On 28 October 2026, Sipho and Mrs B. Singh attended the Mayoral Launch of this exciting initiative. Our school will be participating in the School Recycling and Cleanliness Competition, encouraging our learners to become responsible citizens who care for their environment. Through these efforts, we aim to promote recycling, cleanliness and environmental awareness within our school and wider community.

West Park School is proud to support plastic recycling and encourage our school community to make a difference, one bottle at a time! 🌍💧

We are collecting **empty plastic bottles and containers** to help give plastic a new life. Every small contribution brings us one step closer to a cleaner, greener future! 🌱

✅ Collect empty plastic bottles and containers.
✅ Rinse them if possible.
✅ Drop them into a recycling bag or bin.
✅ Encourage family, friends and neighbours to join in!

🚦 ROAD SAFETY PROGRAMME LAUNCH AT WEST PARK SCHOOL! 🚲🛑
Today, West Park School proudly opened our Road Safety Programme for the Foundation Phase, creating a fun and practical learning environment where our young learners can develop important road safety skills. ❤️
Through interactive activities, bicycles, tricycles and road signs, our learners are learning how to cross safely, understand traffic signs, wear helmets and become responsible road users. 🚸🚴‍♀️
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this initiative possible and to our staff, learners and supporters for making road safety education a priority. 🙏
