ENT or audiologist? It is a very common mix-up.

The roles overlap, but they are not the same. ENTs provide medical and surgical care for the ear, nose, and throat. Audiologists assess hearing, tinnitus and balance and help guide the hearing-care pathway. Sometimes you need both.
