Cystic Fibrosis WA Cystic Fibrosis WA (CFWA) was established by a group of parents in 1975. Since those early days, we have grown into a professional not for profit organisation.

Today CFWA provides a comprehensive range of services, in home support, and resources for people affected by cystic fibrosis (CF) in Western Australia. We have built strong partnerships and continue to collaborate with a range of state and national organisations, and contribute extensively to CF research.

🏃‍♀️ Our amazing supporter Olivia is taking on the Wild Gravel Half Marathon in Gnowangerup on 24 October to raise funds for people living with cystic fibrosis.

Inspired by her friend Lilly, who lives with CF, Olivia has set herself the challenge of crossing the finish line and raising vital funds along the way.

We're incredibly grateful for Olivia's support and dedication to make a difference for the CF community. 💙 We'll be cheering her on every step of the way as she takes on this challenge, and we know your support will help keep her motivated all the way to the finish line!

National Carers Week💙

11–17 October marks National Carers Week, and we want to acknowledge the incredible parents, partners, siblings, grandparents and other loved ones who provide care and support to people living with CF.

Caring for someone with CF often involves so much more than meets the eye. From managing daily treatments, medications and appointments to providing emotional support, advocating for their needs and navigating the challenges of living with a chronic condition, carers play an invaluable role.

To all the carers in our CF community, thank you for everything you do, including the many things that often go unseen.

National Carers Week is also a reminder that carers need care and support too. If you're finding things challenging, need some extra support or just want someone to talk to, please reach out to our team. You don't have to do it all alone💙

Already signed? Please share the petition and help us find the final 147 people who can get us to 2,000.

Imagine having to weigh up the risks of going to the very clinic you rely on to stay well.

Almost 300 adults with CF depend on a clinic that was built more than 50 years ago and was never designed to meet the infection-control needs of modern CF care.

Today is our last chance to stand with them.

Our petition closes at midnight tonight, and we need as many Western Australians as possible to add their names before it does.

Please take a moment to sign. And if you’ve already signed, share the petition today and ask someone else to stand with our CF community.

A safe clinic shouldn’t be too much to ask.
