Many people wait until they’re exhausted, overwhelmed, or completely burnt out before seeking support.

You don’t have to earn help by suffering first.

Whether it’s low energy, digestive concerns, hormone changes, sleep struggles, or simply not feeling like yourself, addressing small concerns early can make a big difference.

Your health deserves attention before it reaches a crisis point.

❤️ Save this as a reminder.

Back in 2020 when I changed office locations, I would look at this picture and know I was exactly where I was supposed to be.

So many people wait until they have more energy, more motivation, more time, or the “perfect” plan before taking the first step.

But change doesn’t start when everything is perfectly in place.

It starts when you decide you’re ready to begin.

When you follow your heart. 🩷

One small step today can lead to a very different tomorrow. 👣

✨ You don’t have to do it alone.

I’m so grateful for the team at HIB. Thankful for where my heart led me. Wishing you the same luck. 🥰

When most people think of food reactions, they think of immediate symptoms.

A peanut allergy. 🥜
A swollen lip.👄
A rash. 😌

But food sensitivities can be different.
They may contribute to:

• Bloating
• Brain fog
• Headaches
• Fatigue
• Eczema
• Sinus congestion
• Digestive symptoms
• Inflammation/pain
• Weight gain

And because symptoms can be delayed, the connection isn’t always obvious.

Food isn’t always the root cause of every symptom, but sometimes it can be an important piece of the puzzle.

Understanding your body’s patterns can help guide a more personalized approach to health.

Have you ever noticed certain foods affect you differently than they used to?

Did you know we can use testing to help identify foods you might be sensitive to? 🩷

I keep thinking about how many women grew up learning how to hide their periods… but not actually understand them.

As I explain menstrual cycles to teens in my office, moms actively engage in the conversation as they also with their daughters.

We learned:
• don’t leak
• carry pads
• push through cramps
• joke about PMS

But many of us were never taught:
🌙 what hormones actually do
🌙 what ovulation is
🌙 why energy changes through the month
🌙 how cycles shift from puberty to menopause
🌙 that our bodies are rhythmic, not random

Women’s bodies are cyclical.

Not broken.
Not dramatic.
Not random.

Cyclical. 🩷🌜

I’ve realized something recently:

Most women were taught how to MANAGE their periods…but not actually understand them.

We learned how to hide tampons up our sleeves, fear leaks, joke about PMS, and push through exhaustion.

But many of us were never taught:
• what ovulation actually is
• why hormones change through the month
• why energy, mood, sleep, hunger, and emotions shift
• how our bodies communicate with us

And honestly?
Most men were never taught either. 🤔

I want to help normalize women’s bodies and teach menstrual cycles in a way that is:
🌜simple
🌜empowering
🌜science-based
🌜shame-free

Welcome to the beginning of this series. 💛

A major shift just happened in women’s health.

Polycystic O***y Syndrome (PCOS) has been renamed:

✨Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS)✨

The change recognizes that this condition is about far more than “ovarian cysts.”

PMOS reflects the complex endocrine + metabolic nature of the condition, including:
• insulin resistance
• androgen excess
• ovulatory dysfunction
• metabolic health
• mental health impacts
• cardiovascular risk

The global consensus involved 14,000+ participants across multiple countries and disciplines.

A reminder that names shape:
diagnosis, stigma, research, policy, and patient experience. 🩷

Maybe not everything is a sign.

But sometimes things make us pause long enough to notice what we need. 🤔

This week a picture had fallen off my office wall when I came into work. Nothing else was out of place. It hangs on 2 screws, and is surrounded by 5 other pieces of art. There was no damage. It was just laying on the floor.

It simply says: Inhale. Exhale.

And honestly… I think I needed that reminder. 🩷

There’s a pattern many of us follow.

We grow up. 🛝
We go to school. 🚌
We build a career. 🧑‍✈️
We find a partner. 👫👭👬
We raise a family. 🏡

There’s always a next step. 🐾

Until suddenly… there isn’t.

And somewhere in midlife, a quiet question shows up:

“What do I want now?”

Not what’s expected.
Not what’s needed.
Not what you’ve always done.
But what do you want.

This transition can feel unsettling.
It can affect mood, motivation, even identity.

And for many women (and men), it happens alongside hormonal shifts, nervous system changes, and a sense that your body, and your life, are both changing at the same time.

You’re not alone in this.

The wellness industry profits from complexity.

But the most powerful health tools are still:
sunlight ☀️
sleep 💤
real food 🍎
movement weightlifting 🏋️
breath 🧘
connection friends 👯

Your body evolved with these.
Not supplements, hacks, or 44-step routines.

Start simple.🩷
