With sadness, I have just heard that on 16th July 2026 we lost the great Heather Rosa.
Heather was a teacher to me 89-91 and a mentor to me after that until she joined ION as a faculty head.
Heather, as many of you will know was a fearless champion of better learning, better food and better health. I do know that she inspired a number of people to become teachers, having instilled confidence in their knowledge and understanding and this drive to educate that, like her personal energy, was captivating and contagious. She was a blast to be around and learn from.
Heather, I hadn't seen you for many years, but I know the world is a bit less now without you.
