Hi! I am volunteering for a fun local event next Sunday, August 16th (9:30-11:00 am) -- Flow Through Time: A Yoga Fundraiser for the Bytown Museum. If you like gentle yoga, I would love to see/meet some of you there! Tickets are $45 per person (includes a $30 tax receipt!!), with all proceeds supporting the Bytown Museum’s preservation and programming initiatives. Full disclosure: I am Vice-Chair of the museum's Board of Directors, and I will be teaching the class 😉 It's a great way to (re)discover this wonderful local museum, meet some new people, and enjoy yoga in one of our city's most scenic spots! There will be lemonade, snacks and door prizes.

Last year's mini-retreat was such a success, I'm doing it again on Saturday, August 8!

Venture out of town and into the lush countryside for a day of movement, creation, and community at White BarnBlooms a small woman-owned cut-flower farm, an hour east of Ottawa.

The day includes:
- one-hour all-levels outdoor yoga practice with a view of the flower gardens
- a light lunch of locally-sourced ingredients
- a personalized tour of the flower gardens by Liza, owner of White Barn Blooms
- everything you'll need to select and hand cut your blooms to create a stunning personal bouquet to take home!

It's baaack!!

Embrace the awakening energy of spring with a 2-hour Yin Yoga and Aromatherapy experience designed to help you pause, soften, and realign with the natural shift of the season.

This cozy, candlelit session class combines the deeply restorative practice of Yin Yoga -- long-held poses to stretch connective tissues, improve circulation, and foster introspection -- with the therapeutic benefits of spring-inspired essential oils.

Poses are thoughtfully paired with high-quality oils that are used aromatically and self or teacher applied to support you in this season of renewal and hope. An optional head or neck massage is offered near the end of the practice.

Spots are limited to ensure a quality experience.

All levels are welcome. Wear comfortable clothing, and bring a mat, water and an open heart for this profound self-care class.
