📌 L’ICU et l’OUQ ont organisé FUSION 2026, le plus important congrès national sur l’urbanisme au Canada, à Montréal du 7 au 9 juillet 2026.

Le congrès n’aurait pas été un succès sans le soutien de nos étudiants bénévoles et de notre partenaire en matière de bénévolat étudiant, la Ville de Calgary.

Dans cet entretien, Maéva Ramboni revient sur les temps forts du congrès, les enseignements tirés et les conseils qu'elle adresse aux autres étudiants en urbanisme.

The Canadian Institute of Planners is pleased to be a partner of the American Planning Association's annual virtual World Town Planning Day conference, held on November 6, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CT.

We are currently seeking session proposals that highlight collaborative planning practices that enhance outcomes, address inequities, and improve quality of life.

Presentations may fall into one of five tracks:

Presented every two years by the Canadian Institute of Planners, the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, and the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects, the National Urban Design Awards are Canada’s premier recognition program for excellence in urban design.

"These awards provide an opportunity to bring the work of professional planners, architects, and landscape architects to the forefront and inspire about the ways they work together," says Lesley Cabott RPP, FCIP, ICD D.

If your project has transformed a neighbourhood, created an exceptional public space, advanced sustainability, strengthened community connections, or demonstrated innovation in city-building, we encourage you to share your success.
