Now that the nicer weather is finally here, I hope you can all find a little time during your workday to step away from the screen and get some fresh air.
Taking a break from sitting allows your body to stand, move, and engage your muscles and core — all of which are beneficial for back health. Movement also supports healthy circulation, encouraging blood flow back to the heart and stimulating lymphatic flow, which helps the body clear metabolic waste.
Stepping away from your desk also gives your brain a chance to reset. These small mental breaks can improve focus, encourage creativity, and give your mind space to wander, problem-solve, and recharge.
So lace up your shoes, grab your water bottle, and take a few minutes away from the desk. Your body and mind will thank you for it. 🌿☀️
