Yay! I had the chance to sit down and chat with my good friend, Janis Boudreau at AFCN Learning Institute. 💚
We talked about my journey from nurse, to foot care nurse, to business owner.
What started as a passion for helping people stay mobile, independent, and comfortable grew into Becky & Co. Medical Foot Care. We discussed what inspired me to specialize in foot care, the challenges and rewards of building a business, and how a small idea grew into the thriving practice it is today.
After listening, I also want to add how important it is to find a mentor early in your foot care career. Janis has been that person for me. Her wisdom, guidance, and encouragement have had a tremendous impact on both my nursing and business journey. I truly wouldn’t be where I am today without her support.
I’m excited to share our conversation with you! 🌱✨
Clinical Partner Spotlight: Becky's Journey from Family Practice Nursing to Ottawa Foot Care Business Owner
In this Clinical Partner Spotlight, I sit down with Becky, our AFCN clinical partner and a foot care business owner in Ottawa. Becky shares why she moved on from her family practice team to build her own foot care business, how she grew it from the ground up, the hard seasons she pushed through, and what the AFCN partnership has meant for her work in the nation's capital. If you are a nurse dreaming about a practice of your own, this conversation is the encouragement and the roadmap you have been waiting for.
Thanks for listening to EmpowerHer Entrepreneur with Janis Boudreau.
