As it heats up outside, Riversdale Community Fridge is looking for donations of bottled water to help keep members of our community hydrated and we're here to is looking for donations of bottled water to help keep members of our community hydrated and we're here to help make that possible! 🤝

For any of our customers interested in contributing, Steep Hill is offering the option of purchasing a flat of 24 bottles of water for $9 - at cost - that will be picked up by Community Fridge volunteers. Customers simply need to ask staff to add a flat of water to their order and we'll take care of ordering and having them delivered.

We'll be sure to share how many flats are donated and the positive impact we're able to make - together. 😁

We're open 11AM to 7PM Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, 10AM to 7PM Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and 11AM to 4PM on Sundays.

The rumours are true! Steep Hill does, in fact, offer delivery! 🥳

Laid up at home with a cold? Ran out of time to grab groceries? Need a few things and can't leave home? Want to surprise someone with groceries? For a crisp $5, we at Steep Hill are happy to deliver your grocery order to wherever you are in Saskatoon.

You can get ahold of us by giving us a call at (306) 664-4455 or send us an email at: [email protected] with what you're looking for. We'll put your order together for you and get it to you ASAP. Not sure what we have? Reach out and our staff would be happy to let you know what some of our options are and if we have what you're looking for.

Summer might just be our favourite season here at Steep Hill. It means the return of all our local, seasonal suppliers and their delicious produce. 😍 There's something extra special about getting to eat things when they're in season, even if that season is a little short (looking at you, asparagus!).

There are so many positives to buying and eating local produce, including:
🍅 supporting local farmers and strengthening local food systems - all your dollars are going straight back into our community!
🥕 getting fresher produce - much of our local produce is harvested less than 24-48 hours before it's delivered. The place it's stored the longest is YOUR fridge!
🫑 less travel time often means that produce will last longer in your fridge, resulting in less waste
🧅 it often tastes better - we get so many compliments on our local produce because of how delicious it tastes (especially the tomatoes!)
🌽 it also LOOKS really good - we eat just as much with our eyes as our taste buds and fresher food looks very appetizing!

Looking for a sweet treat? We've got you covered! 🍪

Baked Better's scrumptious cookies have been a hit since Day One and if you haven't gotten your hands on them yet, you should at least walk very speedily (but we suggest run) and give them a shot. The right kind of soft and chewy with large chunks of dark chocolate and topped with flakey salt, or pistachios and cashews, or a scrumptious oat with cinnamon, there's no wrong answer with these delicious (and large!) cookies.

Today’s episode is a litttttle different as Sol has already tried the item (hence the different title). However, we did want to give you guys a little review of the Bubbies dill pickles as they are back in stock! These pickles are kosher, non-GMO certified, gluten-free and seriously delicious. If you’re a pickle fan, you’ll want to try these out. Come buy a jar in store today and let us know what you think!

Sometimes you just don't have it in you to cook a meal entirely from scratch and that, my friend, is okay! We have plenty of products in store that are easy to prep AND easy to clean up. This post highlights a few of those items including a variety of the Jyoti curries, Tasty Bite channa masala (new and vegan!) and vegetable tikka masala. Spam, and a variety of macaroni and cheeses including your traditional Kraft Dinner, Annie's white and orange cheddar, and, for all the vegans and dairy free people out there, Daiya cheddar mac and cheese!
