Meet Holly Flett one of our Social Workers at the Riversdale clinic 👋

Holly graduated with a Bachelors of Social Work in 2010. She spent almost 13 years with the Ministry of Social Services supporting clients who live with intellectual disabilities. While working with the Ministry she began the journey of a Masters of Couselling, graduating in February 2023. Making the decision to begin counselling is a big one, and when you are ready, Holly looks forward to meeting you and taking the next steps in your journey with you.

Holly has experience with Somatic Experience Training and Play Therapy. She accepts clients age 6 and up who may be experiencing anxiety, PTSD, and trauma.

Meet Jenna Rogers one of our Massage Therapists at the Riversdale clinic 👋

Jenna’s passion for movement and the human body began at a young age. Growing up as a gymnast and dancer, she developed a strong appreciation for strength, flexibility, and body awareness, which sparked her curiosity about how the body functions, heals, and performs at its best.

Her love of learning naturally led her into the health and wellness field. She became a Registered Massage Therapist in 2019 and continues to expand her knowledge through additional training in cupping, Craniosacral Tjerapy, and IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization). Jenna also completed her personal training certification, which she practices on the side, allowing her to better understand movement patterns and support her clients both in and off the treatment table.

With experience working in a private clinic alongside a multidisciplinary team, Jenna values a collaborative approach to care. She listens carefully to each client’s needs and creates personalized treatment plans that support both recovery and long-term wellness. Her approach is intentional and client-centered, encouraging clients to take an active role in their healing outside the treatment room. Jenna strives to provide a welcoming, comfortable space where clients feel supported, cared for, and confident in their wellness journey.

Outside of the clinic, Jenna enjoys reading, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.

Meet Mark Thomas our Dietician at the Riversdale clinic 👋

Mark loves food and loves talking about food even more. With a degree in nutrition under his belt, a past career as a public school teacher, and experience up North counselling and teaching his patients about chronic diseases and food skills, Mark brings a unique combination of passion and expertise. He breaks down the complicated science and cuts through misleading social media noise to factual, practical, and easy-to-apply guidance to help people improve their health through food. Mark believes in the importance of accountability, of setting achievable goals, and employs a weight-neutral approach to his practice. He believes in partnership, not dictatorship, and will work with you to meet you where you’re at, to help you achieve your goals, and be your biggest cheerleader along the way. Mark loves to cook and bake, enjoys a good book, travelling and spending time with family.

Meet Dr. Lauren Russell our Naturopath at the Riversdale clinic 👋

Lauren’s approach is rooted in getting to the actual cause of why you feel the way you do, not just managing symptoms. She takes time to truly listen, interprets lab work for optimal (not just “normal”) values, and collaborates with you on a treatment plan that fits your real life. She’s also trained in acupuncture, craniosacral therapy, and intuitive eating counselling, which she incorporates into ongoing care as appropriate. She provides comprehensive family medicine with a particular focus in hormonal health, reproductive health, digestive health, and children’s health.

She holds a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine and is licensed under the Saskatchewan Association of Naturopathic Practitioners.

We are so excited to announce our partnership with the Saskatoon Hilltops! We are the official medical provider for the 24-time CJFL champions! The lovely .physio will be the head physio for the team. She will also be providing coverage for our athletes out of our Broadway clinic.

Meet Emile our Physiotherapist at the Riversdale clinic 👋

Emile was born and raised in Saskatoon. He graduated with a degree in Kinesiology from the U of S in 2009 and a Master’s in Physical Therapy in 2011. Emile is a lifelong learner and continues to develop his skillset, mindset and toolbox with every year of practice. He has taken post graduate education in orthopedic manual therapy, myofascial treatment, pain education, neurodynamics, biomedical dry needling and Gunn IMS.

Throughout his career, he has always worked in private practice and has many years of experience working with patients, helping to manage both acute and persistent issues. From professional athletes, to those that struggle getting out of a chair, Emile enjoys working with a variety of different needs and abilities.

Emile was a competitive athlete in his youth and continues to enjoy being active year round, both in the gym and outside. He enjoys putzing in his gardens, keeping busy with projects, cooking and eating good food as well as spending time with his young family.
