Multiple partners? One partner? It’s complicated? 👀 PrEP isn’t checking your relationship status.

People consider PrEP for all kinds of reasons, and the number of partners you have doesn’t determine whether you deserve to learn about your HIV prevention options. Prevention is personal and having the right information helps you make choices that fit your life, your relationships, and your health.

Heard this myth before? Drop a 👀 below, or tell us what PrEP myth we should tackle next!

Knowledge empowers choice.

Black women continue to face significant barriers to HIV prevention — from low awareness of PrEP and stigma to financial and access challenges. Despite representing a disproportionate number of HIV cases in Canada, Black women remain underrepresented in HIV prevention and care services.

To help address these inequities, we partnered with Gilead Sciences Canada to develop a new report grounded in community voices. Drawing on listening sessions with Black women and insights from Gilead’s Global HIV Prevention Survey, the report outlines actionable steps to improve PrEP awareness, access and equity for Black women across Canada.
