What actually happens when you come in for a consultation 👇

Most hesitant clients aren’t unsure about treatments - they’re unsure about the conversation that comes before them.

So here’s exactly what to expect.

We talk properly. I assess properly.

Then I give you an honest recommendation, which might be a treatment, “not yet”, or a different treatment than the one you came in asking for.

No pressure. No deposit. No booking required on the day if it’s not right for you.

Just a proper conversation. That’s the standard. Always🪷

This weekend I had the privilege of attending the A-List Cadaveric Dissection & Anatomy Masterclass — an experience that truly reinforces the depth of responsibility we hold as aesthetic practitioners.

There is simply no comparison to learning anatomy in its truest form. Exploring each layer firsthand provides a level of understanding that textbooks and theory alone cannot offer. It deepens clinical insight, enhances precision, and most importantly, elevates patient safety.

I felt incredibly privileged to learn from an exceptional faculty of globally respected experts — including Julie Kaplan, an esteemed aesthetics nurse and educator; Jory Kaplan, a highly regarded facial reconstructive plastic surgeon; and Jeff Downie, Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. Learning from clinicians of this calibre is both inspiring and invaluable.

A moment of sincere gratitude to the individual who made this learning possible through body donation. Their selfless decision contributes immeasurably to medical education and ultimately to safer, more informed patient care. It is a privilege I approached with the utmost respect.

Continued education is not optional in this field — it is essential. Experiences like this are a powerful reminder that true expertise is built through ongoing learning, humility, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.julie

Do I ever say no to clients? Yeah. Often 🤍

Sometimes a treatment isn’t right for them.

Sometimes they’re not ready.

Sometimes they already look great and they don’t need anything more.

Saying no is the work - it’s what protects the face and what builds the kind of long-term trust that means clients stay for years.

“Yes” is the easy word in aesthetics. “No” is the one that matters🪷

This is Jo Ferriday Aesthetics 🤍

Bespoke, nurse-led care.

Seventeen years of doing this work the way I think it should be done - quietly, considered, and never rushed.

If that sounds like the kind of clinic you’ve been looking for, you’re in the right place🪷

A full treatment, start to finish ✨

Every step in this is intentional. The prep. The cleanse. The cream. The microneedling.

The LED. None of it is filler, none of it is rushed.

This is one of the treatments I reach for most often when a client comes in asking for “better skin” - because more often than people expect, the right answer isn’t filler.

It’s skin work, done properly🪷

The bit at the end that most people don’t realise matters 🔴

Red LED therapy isn’t a luxury add-on.

It’s a clinically proven treatment that speeds up healing, calms inflammation, and helps the work we’ve just done land properly in the skin.

Skipping it is the difference between okay results and the results you actually came in for.

Quiet science. Real impact🪷

The trends I’ll do, and the ones I won’t 👇

The work I’m genuinely excited about right now is skin boosting, microneedling, polynucleotides.

Slow, evidence-based, regenerative treatments that work with your skin instead of against it.

The trends I won’t touch? Russian lips, over-filling, anything built around making everyone’s face look the same.

The face you have to live with for the next ten years matters more than the one that’s popular this season🪷

The thing I wish more people knew before booking any aesthetic treatment, anywhere 👇

You don’t have to walk in already knowing what you need. Most clients arrive at consultation assuming they need filler, or Botox, or whatever they’ve been Googling - and often, that’s not what’s actually right for them.

That’s exactly what the consultation is for.

To make it easier, I’ve grouped everything I offer into four categories based on what you’re trying to achieve, not what’s in the syringe.

Browse the menu in the carousel and DM me the group name that sounds closest to what you’re thinking.

I’ll answer you personally🪷
