Why wouldn’t you be nervous having your first massage, whether that’s with me or another therapist?

You’re entering a space you’ve never been in before, meeting a complete stranger, and then being asked to get undressed and let them massage you with oil. When you put it like that, it actually sounds pretty daunting so of course you might feel nervous.

That’s why I feel it’s so important to take my time to talk to you before every treatment, whether it’s your first massage or your 100th. You deserve to feel safe, seen and heard.

Massage is about creating calm not just for your body, but for your mind too.

Your massage therapist should care about those little things that help you feel looked after, so you don’t have to stress about trying something new or feeling a little nervous. It’s about building that trust together, so you can eventually feel comfortable enough to fully let go.

I’ve had the privilege of massaging so many people for the very first time, and I’m sure I’ll get to do that for many more. Thank you for choosing me✨

So if you’re nervous, please don’t be afraid to tell me. There’s absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about. I can support you, answer any questions you have, take things at your pace and help make the experience feel a whole lot less scary.

Had the most amazing hydra-facial from Caitlin who owns this studio, I’ve never had one before and my face clearly needed it!

I’m so glowy now and I love it the best way to start the day and such a beautiful kind person

And knowing that she is q***r made me feel instantly more comfortable so had to share with you all if you needed a safe space too 🩷🧡
