For Mental Health Awareness Week, our team came together for Wear It Green Day and a well-being meeting 💚

As part of the day, they planted seeds as a simple reminder that, just like our plants, our mental health needs tending to as well. 🌱

The team also shared the well-being resources available to everyone across Carefound Home Care, because it’s important that we all know what support is there when we need it.

Reaching such an incredible milestone is truly something to celebrate, and we’re honoured to support her to continue living well at home.

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week 💜

This year’s theme reminds us that even small actions can make a big difference.

We know that well-being is about much more than physical health. For many older people, companionship, a kind conversation, and feeling truly listened to can have a positive impact on their mental health and quality of life.

It’s also a reminder to look after the mental health of our team. Our care professionals give so much of themselves every day, which is why we provide ongoing support and well-being resources whenever they need guidance, reassurance, or someone to turn to.

We’re also proud to be taking part in Wear It Green Day to show our support for good mental health.

Whether it’s checking in with a client, supporting a colleague, calling a loved one, or taking a moment for yourself, every positive action matters.

Because caring for others starts with caring for each other.

A great, productive annual general meeting with Rushcliffe Dementia Action Network! 💙

Shelley from our branch attended and shared that there were lots of plans and initiatives discussed for the year ahead, all focused on raising awareness of dementia within the local community.

It was also a valuable opportunity to share ideas and explore how organisations can work together to better support people and their families to live well with dementia! 🏡

A fantastic day at the Dementia and Carers Roadshow at Rushcliffe Arena! 💙

This local event brought together support, advice and activities for people living with dementia, as well as their families and care professionals, all in one place.

Our team were really pleased to work closely with Rushcliffe Dementia Action Network to help organise the event, as well as provide refreshments for everyone attending.

Last week, our team enjoyed a walk around Rushcliffe Country Park during their staff meeting, catching up on company and client updates along the way, with a well-earned coffee too! ☕
