✨ A little reminder that you’re more than the roles you carry 🦸

This weekend, I stepped away from the hypervigilance of always thinking ahead and taking care of everything and everyone.

No mental load. Just permission to switch off and reconnect with the parts of myself that can sometimes get lost beneath the many roles I carry.

Music has always been one of those, and spending the evening at diasporacalling! festival with my little brother, listening to Ms. Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean, felt like my kinda throw back 🫶🔥

✨ Freedom isn’t leaving your responsibilities behind. It’s giving yourself permission to exist beyond them for a while. 💛 🌿

🌿 A little reflection from me... 🌿

While my training has shaped my practice, the foundation of my work is a genuine desire to help others. It feels less like work and more like a vocation.

Feedback like this reminds me why I do what I do. Not because of titles or certificates on the wall, but because helping someone move more freely, live with less pain, and reconnect with the things they love is truly priceless.

One thing I have learned over the years is that people rarely remember every technique used during a treatment. They remember how they felt in your presence.

For me, that presence comes from a place of deep respect for the person in front of me, and from spiritual values that have guided my path for many years.

But when we intentionally slow things down,
we create space for connection, safety, and regulation 💖

✨ A little life update & behind‑the‑scenes moment ✨

If you’ve noticed I’ve been quieter online, here’s why ...
Alongside running my business, this past year I’ve also been fully immersed in university life. And today… I sat my final exam, submitted my last assignment, and officially completed my first year of my degree 🎓✨

These photos capture what’s been happening quietly behind the scenes:

☕ Days spent on campus, embracing uni culture and learning again
👭 New friendships and shared moments
❤️ Lunchtime campus visits with my daughter

It’s been a year of stretching myself, balancing roles, and trusting the process, as a practitioner, student, mum and wife! Everything I’ve been learning and experiencing is shaping me, not just academically, but energetically and holistically too.
