**Why finding your people matters**

Heya fans, just had a banger of a story so far from my client, Ciara & would love to show you?

Ciara was:

Moving house.

Changing jobs.

Starting again in a completely new area.

And knew this was the perfect opportunity to build some healthy habits before life got in the way.

Her new job meant sitting at a desk instead of being active all day, and after shoulder surgery she'd lost a lot of strength and confidence.

She promised herself that this time she wouldn't keep putting it off, here are her words...

What problem were you trying to solve by coming to FitBody, Ciara?

I’d recently moved to the area from Sussex and changed jobs as a swimming teacher/coach to a more sedentary role as virtual PA.

I could feel myself getting sluggish and I wanted to grab the bull by the horns when we moved.

If I put it off, I’d never do it. but I had been promising myself I’d join something as soon as we moved.

I have always been relatively strong and active but after a shoulder surgery last year, I’ve lost so much strength (I wouldn’t call it muscle) on my right side!

What’s the BIGGEST lesson you learned while at FitBody?

Everyone is there for their own reason but everyone is there because they enjoy it!

Sometimes we don’t want to be there at 0700am in the morning but we feel great after we’ve done it!

We keep each other going and have a giggle while doing it! It can be fun doing this and it is!

There is no way I would be doing these exercises on my own in the gym!

I have also learned that I can still keep active with a few adaptations!

What results did you achieve?

I feel confident in myself.

I feel better in my clothes.

I look better and I’m having fun too!

You have to have fun to get up early x3 a week!!

But I’ve found I’m enjoying training again after years at the side and in the swimming pool!

I feel so much more confident in myself again!

And as I go through the menopause, it’s really helping being around girls going through the same, I feel so much stronger and my shoulder/arm is getting stronger every day!!

Today, Ciara feels stronger, more confident, and genuinely enjoys getting up for those early morning sessions.

She's feeling better in her clothes, rebuilding strength in her shoulder, and has rediscovered something she'd been missing...

She enjoys training again.

Perhaps the biggest surprise?

Being surrounded by women who encourage each other, laugh together, and understand exactly what she's going through has made all the difference.

Sometimes getting stronger isn't just about lifting heavier weights.

It's about finding your people.

Message "INFO" and let's make this the time you actually stick to it.

**One bad day doesn't ruin everything**

Heya fans, got another nice little 'story so far' to show you if you've a min?

It's from my client Sammy

When Sammy joined FitBody, she had a simple goal.

Lose some weight before her holiday and feel better in herself.

But like many mums, there was something else she needed too.

A little bit of time for herself.

Not mum.

Not partner.

Not employee.

Just Sammy.

After having a baby, life had become all about everyone else, and FitBody gave her a chance to switch off, focus on herself, and do something positive for her own health.

Here are Sammy's words:

What problem were you trying to solve by coming to FitBody, Sammy?

The problem I was trying to solve by coming to FitBody was to lose weight for my holiday and feel better in general.

Not long having had a baby I found it gives me some me time too to switch off from anything else!

What’s the BIGGEST lesson you learned while at FitBody?

The biggest lesson I have learnt is to not beat myself up if I have a bad day, too many calories etc.

Regular posts from the nutritionist help me realise this is a journey with highs and lows.
Also realise how unfit I am 🤣

What results did you achieve?

Results I’ve achieved so far watching my calories too, is half a stone loss and loss in cm too!

I love the variety of workouts, each session is a surprise, glad I found FitBody 😊

Me again 🙋‍♂️

Since joining, Sammy has lost half a stone, dropped centimetres, and is feeling fitter and healthier.

But perhaps the biggest shift has been her mindset.

Instead of beating herself up over the odd bad day, she's learned that progress isn't about being perfect.

It's about getting back on track.

The weight loss is great.

The centimetres are great.

But finding something she genuinely enjoys and looks forward to every week?

That's what makes it sustainable.

If you've been waiting until life calms down, this is your sign to start anyway.

P.S. If you're looking for something realistic that fits around real life, reply "INFO".

**I can't believe I'm saying this...**

Heya , just had a nice little 'story so far' land & would love to show you?

It's from my client Lauren, now-Lauren didn't join FitBody because she loved exercise.

Quite the opposite.

She wanted to do something about her fitness, but the thought of walking into a gym was intimidating.

She didn't know where to start.

Didn't know what to do.

And like many women, worried she'd feel out of place.

She simply wanted something that felt manageable, supportive, and realistic around a busy life.

Here are Lauren's words:

What problem were you trying to solve by coming to FitBody, Lauren?

I wanted to exercise, but I didn’t know how.

I was intimidated to step foot in a gym as I wouldn’t know where to start.

Everyone has been so welcoming and I thought a session with less people would be better, but actually the busiest sessions are better.

45 minutes is over so fast, I love that I can do a class early morning or later in the evening fits in well with busy lives - I’ve got no excuse!

What’s the BIGGEST lesson you learned while at FitBody?

I’ve learnt from fit body is that you do actually feel better mentally & physically after exercise.

I have just been away on holiday for a week averaged about 15K steps a day my body really missed the workouts -this is shocking to me!

Couldn’t wait to get back to the gym! (can’t believe I wrote that!)

What results did you achieve?

I'm into my 5th week at FitBody aiming for steady weight loss & permanently better mindset.

5lbs down
7cm off my belly
4cm off my thigh
5cm off my hips

Me again 🙋‍♂️

Just five weeks later, Lauren is already seeing changes in both her body and her mindset.

She's lost weight, dropped centimetres, and feels more positive about where she's heading.

But perhaps the biggest surprise?

She's become someone who actually misses training when she doesn't do it.

The woman who once felt intimidated by gyms came back from holiday genuinely looking forward to her next session.

And honestly?

That's when you know something has clicked.

The goal isn't to force yourself to exercise forever.

The goal is to find something you'll actually stick to.

P.S. Nervous because you've never really done gym stuff before? Lauren was exactly the same.

This is what FitBody is all about 💙

Not smashing yourself into the ground.

Not chasing perfection.

Just showing up, doing what you can, and being around good people.

Fitness is important.

But so is friendship, support and having something in your week that makes you feel better than when you arrived.

Well done ladies 👏

** From isolated and flat… to stronger and happier**

Heya fans, just had a noice little 'story so far' from my client & would love to show you?

It's from Anna, she didn’t join FitBody because she hated her body or desperately wanted to lose weight.

In fact, she was already happy with her weight and shape.

What she really wanted was:

better mental health
more physical strength
more energy
and honestly… less isolation.

Working from home had started taking its toll.

She was feeling flat, lonely at times, and physically weaker than she wanted to feel.

She needed something that would improve both her mind and body — and give her a reason to get out of the house and reconnect with herself again

What problem were you trying to solve by coming to FitBody, Anna?

I had two goals - improved mental health and physical strength.

I'm happy with my weight and body shape but I was struggling with feeling down, a bit lonely working from home and my muscles felt a bit weak.

What’s the BIGGEST lesson you learned while at FitBody?

That I can get up and join a FitBody session at 7am and stick to it!

This has really amazed because a) I am not a morning person and b) I don't like gyms.

FitBody feels different to anything I've ever tried before.

I LOVE the flexible schedule and booking app, they play great music and I really enjoy training alongside other women.

There's a real sense of camaraderie and it sets me up for the day.

I don't mind a day alone at my desk when I've done a FitBody session in the morning. It has really helped with that feeling of isolation.

What results did you achieve?

I am happier and stronger and I feel proud of myself for sticking at it.

I FEEL different.

Definitely more strength and stamina.

I went hiking with friends recently and I was first up the mountain by a long way.

I felt strong all the way up.

Honestly?

Joining FitBody is the best decision I could have made

Me again! 🙋‍♂️

Now Anna is stronger, happier, and genuinely proud of herself for sticking to something she never imagined she’d enjoy.

She’s discovered that she actually can get up for a 7am session, enjoys training alongside other women, and loves the positive routine it’s brought into her life.

But perhaps the biggest change?

She no longer feels isolated.

FitBody became more than exercise — it became structure, connection, energy, and a way to start the day feeling strong both physically and mentally.

If you’re feeling flat, isolated or stuck in a rut, this could genuinely help more than you think.

Hey hay

I just received another great little 'Story So Far' & would love to show you if you've a min?

It's from Steph my client, & she wasn’t looking for another boring fitness routine.

She didn’t want to drag herself through the same workouts over and over again or force herself into something she hated.

What she really wanted was exercise that felt:

fun
energising
enjoyable

Something she’d actually look forward to instead of constantly trying to avoid.

Then she found FitBody.

What problem were you trying to solve by coming to FitBody, Steph?

I wanted to find the workout — not the same routine over and over, but something fun, energising, and enjoyable. I wanted something to look forward to, not drag myself through it. …and then I found FitBody.

Here are Steph's words:

What’s the BIGGEST lesson you learned while at FitBody, Steph?

That exercise can be both fun and fierce at the same time.

You can sweat, laugh, and still walk out feeling like an absolute winner.

And honestly, you never regret a workout — only the ones you skip.

What results did you achieve?

Inches gone, confidence up. I wasn’t chasing a number on the scales — I wanted to feel good in my clothes, feel fitter, feel less sluggish, and enjoy being around a lovely group of women. And that’s exactly what happened.

FitBody is where you rediscover what your body can do, not what it ‘should’ look like. It’s a space to feel strong, supported, and proud of yourself — surrounded by women who cheer you on every step of the way

Me again! 🙋‍♂️

Now Steph’s fitter, more confident, and genuinely enjoying exercise again.

She’s lost inches, feels better in her clothes, has more energy, and no longer sees fitness as something miserable she “has” to do.

Instead, training has become something positive — a place where she can feel strong, supported, and proud of herself.

Because sometimes the best results don’t come from punishing your body…

They come from finally enjoying looking after it.

If you hate exercise, maybe you just haven’t found the right environment yet

Nick “Exercise You’ll Actually Look Forward To” Slater
P.S. If you’ve spent years forcing yourself through workouts you hate… maybe it’s time to try something different.

P.P.S. DM me ‘JULY’ & I’ll get the details over

** Bought weights… and then did nothing with them 😅 **

Heya fans, just had another awesome story so far land & would love to show you?

Over the past year, Gemma slowly started feeling less like herself.

The weight had crept on, confidence had dipped, and she found herself avoiding mirrors and not liking what she saw.

She knew she needed to do something.

Like many people, she even bought weights to start at home…

…but they mostly just sat there because she didn’t really know where to begin.

Then FitBody popped up — and she thought:

👉 “What have I got to lose?”

Here are Gemma's words:

What problem were you trying to solve by coming to FitBody, Gemma?

Over the past year, the weight had gradually crept on, and I was lacking confidence and not liking what I saw in the mirror.

I knew I had to do something and bought some weights, but I just didn’t know where to start.

Then FitBody popped up, and I thought, “What have I got to lose?”

What’s the BIGGEST lesson you learned while at FitBody?

The biggest lesson I have learned so far is that it’s not about perfection, but more about showing up for yourself and holding yourself accountable.

It’s OK to have a treat or a night out, but it’s what you do afterwards that counts.

What results did you achieve?

I have more confidence and self-esteem. My weight is dropping steadily, and I am feeling stronger. Most importantly, I am enjoying coming to FitBody, which I never thought I would say.

Me again 🙋‍♂️

Now Gemma is steadily losing weight, feeling stronger, and — perhaps most importantly — rebuilding her confidence and self-esteem.

She’s realised fitness doesn’t need perfection to work.

It just needs consistency, accountability, and the willingness to keep showing up, even after the occasional treat or night out.

And the biggest surprise of all?

She genuinely enjoys coming to FitBody — something she never expected herself to say.

The hardest part is usually beginning. We’ll help with the rest.
