Team Dynamic x Tansy Centre — Mobility Project Launch 💙

Our 40‑week Community Health & Wellbeing Programme officially begins THIS MORNING at Tansy Centre, South Hylton (SR4 0QD).
Funded through the Health & Growth Grant from Sunderland Voluntary Sector Alliance 🙌

If you or someone you know is experiencing:
MSK pain, reduced mobility, or health‑related barriers to employment, this programme is designed to support you.

This structure gives people the chance to connect, learn, and receive personalised support — all in a safe, friendly, welcoming environment 💪

🌟 COMMUNITY EQUIPMENT APPEAL 🌟

Last year we put a call out for support and were absolutely blown away by the kindness and generosity shown to us ❤️

Thanks to amazing people like Gary West Gas Services, we were able to bring in equipment that has since helped so many within our over 50’s sessions and wider community to get stronger, move better and feel more confident 🙌

👉 We’re now reaching out again… as we have numerous projects coming across the Sunderland area to help support our local communities to become more physical, healthy and sociable.

As our sessions continue to grow, we’re looking for donations of:
🏋️‍♂️ 1kg, 2kg, 3kg, 4kg & 5kg dumbbells / free weights

These lighter weights are perfect for supporting:
💛 People living with long-term/chronic health conditions
💛 Those returning to exercise
💛 Individuals building confidence, strength and mobility

If you have any unwanted weights sitting at home, gathering dust, you could genuinely make a huge difference to someone else’s recovery journey and wellbeing 🙏

Every single bit of kit we receive goes straight back into helping the local community thrive 💯

🚨 NEW COLLABORATION ANNOUNCEMENT🚨

We’re really excited to share that Team Dynamic is officially partnering with Tansy Centre South Hylton to deliver our Team Dynamic Mobility Project 💙

This programme is proudly funded through the Health & Growth Grant from the amazing Sunderland Voluntary Sector Alliance 🙌

💥 What is it all about?

We’re delivering a 40-week community health & wellbeing programme right here in Sunderland, supporting adults who may be experiencing:

✅ Musculoskeletal (MSK) pain
✅ Reduced mobility
✅ Health-related barriers to employment

📅 How the sessions work (every Thursday starting from 4th June):

🕙 10:00am – 11:00am
👉 Pain management, education & social workshop

🕚 11:00am – 1:00pm
👉 Rehabilitative mobility drop-in sessions

This structure allows participants to learn, connect, and then apply that knowledge through guided movement at their own pace 💪

🌱 What participants gain:

✨ Reduced pain and improved movement
✨ Better strength, flexibility & balance
✨ Increased confidence and independence
✨ A safe, supportive and welcoming environment
✨ Social connection and peer support

🚀 Beyond the sessions…

This programme isn’t just about physical health, it’s about building pathways forward:

We’re teaming up with Tesco Sunderland to bring brand‑new community fitness sessions to the store every Tuesday & Thursday, 3pm–6pm 🧡

Here’s what’s coming:

✨ Mixed / Couples Mobility
💪 Men’s Mobility & Strength
🔥 Women’s Full‑Body Toning & Conditioning

We’re also planning an Opening Day where you can meet all 3 coaches, ask questions, and see how we can tailor sessions to your ability and goals.

Affordable options:
£15 — 1 class/week
£30 — 2 classes/week
£5 — pay‑as‑you‑go

We need 12 people per class to launch — so if you’re ready to get fitter, stronger and more mobile, drop us a message or follow for updates.

Collaboration Announcement: Team Dynamic x Tesco Extra Sunderland

We’re excited to share that Team Dynamic will be partnering with Tesco Extra Sunderland over the coming months to deliver a brand‑new range of community classes, all designed to help local people move better, feel stronger, and build confidence in a supportive environment.

📅 Tuesdays & Thursdays

⏰ 3pm–6pm

📍 Tesco Extra Sunderland

We’ll be running three new sessions each afternoon:

• Mixed / Couples Mobility Session — improve movement, balance, and confidence together

• Men’s Only Mobility & Strength Group — build strength, stability, and long‑term resilience

• Women’s Only Full‑Body Toning & Conditioning — low‑impact, effective sessions for strength, mobility, and confidence

Opening Day — Come Meet Us

We’re currently choosing a date for an Opening Day where anyone can drop in, meet all three coaches, ask questions, and see how we can tailor each class to different levels of ability and the needs of the local community.

Whether you’re returning to movement, managing long‑term conditions, or simply wanting to feel fitter and more mobile, we’ll help you find the right starting point.
