How I set myself up for my busy days as a mum, woman and therapist.
Exercise keeps me sane, balanced and focused. It’s NOT about weight loss, it’s ALL ABOUT body recomposition.
What I do in my regimen ?
* eat a lot of same meals on repeat all based around clean lean protein.
* 4-5 ShredFast sessions per week which is HIIT Kettlebell work.
* drink minimum 3Ls a day using electrolytes
* 3-4 strength training sessions per week working on ‘back & biceps’ ‘chest, shoulders & triceps’ ‘quads & hammys’ ‘quads & glutes’
* minimum 10k steps per day
* 1-2 full rest days per week
* treat sleep routine with importance
* get outdoors as much as possible
* use top quality supplements
What I DO NOT DO…..
* eat UPFs regularly (ultra processed foods)
* drink alcohol
* smoke or v**e
* let the devil destroy my discipline when im tired or lethargic
* get involved in drama, gossip, small talk or other people’s business
* not show up for myself ever again!
It’s not about PERFECTION but about CONSISTENCY.
I haven’t got every day right, I eat out and enjoy a social life, some days I’m operating at 100% others I’m at a 40% but I show up and give what I can. Motivation isn’t always there but discipline is and it’s that which gets you back into routine when you have a night off due to a birthday or life event, it’s discipline that brings you back to consistency and consistency compounds over time to achieve results 🥳
I’m now studying to eventually turn my coaching into Fitness & Wellbeing Coaching Online so I can help all those of you out there who are where I was 18months ago. I’ve lived the life of 46years, I’ve had the children, the work life, the demands, the hormonal changes, the weight struggles, the mindset of a loser and a winner, I’ve survived traumatic experiences, I’ve got the real life experience these 20something perky Instagram fitness bods don’t have. How can we take life advice off someone who’s birth year begins with a 2!!!!!
