It's been a while and lots of new faces have joined us here. I am sure you would like to get to know me a little better.
Hi, I'm Emma. That's who I am at heart.
I am many things to many people, and just a few examples would be wife, sister, daughter, auntie and friend.
If I rewind a good twenty to twenty-five years, we can begin. This was the time I stepped out into the big wide world on my journey of self-discovery. I actually started out as a linguist, learning new languages, exploring new places and trying to communicate with others, in spite of a strong sense of self-doubt that I carried around for years.
Nonetheless, my passion for languages and that same sense of curiosity and connection led me to a career in primary school teaching, where I spent many years nurturing the whole child and holding space for the families around them too.
Those years taught me so much about people, about life, and above all about myself. It was where I began to find my voice, a calling, new perspectives, and where I began to see life through a different lens. Little did I know that my greatest lessons were still to come, the ones found outside the classroom.
Today, that same curiosity and connection has led me somewhere different. Down a path of remembering into a new chapter of my life. I'm an intuitive energy healer and children's yoga teacher. This is work that lets me nurture people in much the same way, just through a different language altogether. The language of energy.
