Participants are quickly developing digital and creative skills while learning how waste plastic can be repurposed into useful and meaningful products. What a great day to kick off our Biodiversity Action Plan! We were delighted to welcome Cathy Eastman and MTU student Mathew Joy as we begin this exciting journey to further enhance our biodiversity across our village. We will look forward to seeing the positive impact of this project in the months ahead. Big thank you to Cathy for sharing her knowledge and expertise!

Yesterday Fiona led a European audience through how waste plastic from Irish beaches can be reurposed into jewellery, signage & 3D-printed civic objects, proving that people with
intellectual disabilities & autism have a powerful voice in climate change.
This initiative also incorporated design thinking concepts and prototypes by the 2nd year engineering students from the MTU Kerry Campus. Every piece told a story of circular economy in action, collaboration and inclusion.
