The sun is slowly sinking beyond the horizon, dyeing the whole sky in a soft tangerine glow. Those clouds drifting idly and gently across the sky, just like tired birds returning home. I can feel it: the time for stillness has come.
I pause my steps, standing right here in the dim twilight, and all my tiredness is gently caught and softly settled somewhere. My heart feels full and warm, brimming over with peace.
It turns out happiness can live in such a simple little moment. This quiet sense of steadiness is like the solid earth beneath my feet, like the faint sweet fragrance drifting on the night breeze. It calms my heart, then fills it with a soft, warm glow that lingers.
I love who I am in this moment: my steps are unhurried, my heart is untroubled, and everything just feels perfectly right — the sun has set just in time, the night is creeping in just right, and my happiness is just brimming over, full and complete.
