Can't get a GP appointment?

For some common conditions, eligible patients may be able to receive assessment and treatment directly from a pharmacist through New Zealand's Extended Pharmacy Services (EPS) programme.

At Unichem Browns Bay Pharmacy, our pharmacists may be able to help with selected conditions including conjunctivitis, pain and fever management, oral rehydration support, head lice treatment, scabies treatment, uncomplicated urinary tract infections, and emergency contraception consultations.

✔ FREE for eligible children under 14
✔ FREE for adults with a Community Services Card (CSC)
✔ $10 consultation fee for adults without a CSC

No appointment required — simply visit the pharmacy and speak with one of our pharmacists.

Accessing treatment for common conditions may now be easier than ever.

Under New Zealand's Extended Pharmacy Services programme, participating pharmacies can now assess and provide treatment for selected common conditions without requiring a GP appointment for eligible patients.

At Unichem Browns Bay Pharmacy, our pharmacists may be able to help with:

• Uncomplicated urinary tract infections (women aged 16–65)
• Conjunctivitis (children aged 2–13)
• Pain and fever management (children under 14)
• Oral rehydration support (children under 14)
