Yup! We’re back! With more fun stuff 🤸‍♀️

Foundations of Hand Balancing — Part Two
APRIL 26th!!

We’re building on everything from round one and taking it a little further — more strength, more shapes, more play. This all-levels workshop breaks down the foundations of getting upside down in a way that actually feels approachable (and fun).

We’ll explore wrist prep, weight shifting, core engagement, and alignment while playing with crow and its variations, flying splits, and pathways toward chin stand — all supporting a stronger, more confident handstand practice.

Stay low, use the wall, or start finding a little hang time — this is about meeting yourself exactly where you are and exploring from there. Expect drills, tips, and plenty of space to experiment and get a little curious with it.

As before — come for the 8:30 AM flow, grab a coffee, then come back for some play time.

Join Susan & Shauna on Friday, 3/27 at 6:15 pm for an uplifting, relaxing, and rejuvenating practice.

Release into Yin & Sound Bath is a quiet, nurturing experience designed to help you slow down and soften. We’ll begin with a short release practice, move into deep stretches through Yin, and then settle onto your back to take in the beautiful, healing sounds of the sound bath.

Come as you are and give yourself space to unwind.

✨ Live at Simon Says Yoga ✨

Join us for an intimate concert with Thammarat (TAH-mah-raht) — a Maryland/DC-based indie pop songwriter and vocal powerhouse creating story-driven anthems and ballads.

Blending Broadway energy, early-2000s nostalgia, and q***r storytelling, Thammarat’s music creates a brave, affirming space where love, humanity, and self-expression take center stage.

This gentle, restorative workshop explores happiness as a practice through movement, breath, meditation, and reflection, along with a brief guided lesson inspired by the work of Dr. Tal Ben-Shahar and the Happiness Studies Academy. Participants will learn a simple framework for understanding happiness and explore practical tools they can carry off the mat to support their own happiness journey, with a focus on physical wellbeing.

This Sunday, February 8 at 4:00pm — in-studio and online — with Laura Spining Dodson at Simon Says Yoga.
