We would like to extend a thank you to the Millstone Fund for their support of Stepping Stones! 💚 They have generously provided the funding for various in-house programming opportunities and community outings throughout Stepping Stones. Some include: fitness classes, martial arts, ballet classes, passes and memberships around the city, animal encounters, sporting events and more! These opportunities help to provide our participants with new experiences, allowing them to discover new hobbies and passions, while being involved members of the community.

Step Up had some special visitors this week from Cool Critters Outreach! 🦎Cool Critters rescues snakes, lizards and other animals throughout the city and provide them with a home. Students were able to meet and hold some of the animals during the presentation, which is always a big hit!

Congratulations to Stepping Stones volunteer and advocate Jenny Arena for being chosen as a 2026 Cincy Serves honoree by Fifth Third Bank and Cincinnati Open! 🎾🤍

For the past four years, Jenny has played an integral part of our Bloom planning committee and served as Event Chair for two years. She has brought in numerous donors, volunteers and sponsors to the Stepping Stones community and spread awareness. Congratulations to Jenny and all of the 2026 honorees!

We would like to extend a thank you to the Charles H. Dater Foundation for their generous support of Saturday Clubs at Stepping Stones this year! Saturday Kids & Young Adults Club operate on alternating Saturdays throughout the school year, providing kids and young adults an engaging environment to connect with their peers. Saturdays at Stepping Stones are filled with new friends, games, seasonal celebrations, art projects and more!

Students from our Step Up Alternative Education Program recently took a visit to the Newport Aquarium! 🐠 Before their trip, students worked on their self regulation and social skills to make the day a wonderful success! Everyone enjoyed seeing and learning about all of the aniamls and activities that the aquarium has to offer.

Two of our Stepping Stones participants, Dez & Nick, had the very exciting opportunity to deliver the game ball at FC Cincinnati's game against the New York Red Bulls last week! We are thankful to FCC for this wonderful opportunity! ⚽️🧡💙

The first Stepping Stones' Kart Race was a great success! 🏁🏎️💨 We greatly appreciate all of the team and sponsors that supported the event this year. We are excited to share that, inclusive of all revenue sources, we raised a net total of $21,000. It was an awesome day of racing for Stepping Stones and congratulations to all of the day's winners!

Last week two of our Adult Day Service participants, Sherri & Dylan, got to showcase their artwork at The Rotary Foundation of Cincinnati's Legacy Circle event. 🎨💚

The event was held at the Clifton Cultural Arts Center, and Sherri & Dylan got to showcase a few of their art pieces to guests. It was an exciting opportunity and we are so proud of Sherri & Dylan for representing Stepping Stones with their art!
