October 15th is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. Today, we hold space for the babies gone too soon. We are especially thinking of our Heart Angels and their families, honoring the lives that will forever hold a place in their hearts🤍

Tonight at 7:00 PM, we invite you to light a candle in remembrance of these precious lives and in honor of the families who carry their love with them every day🕯️

Today, on World Heart Day, we raise awareness for the 1 in 100 babies born with a congenital heart defect🫀

Our Heart Warriors and Angels inspire us every day with their strength, courage, and resilience. We are incredibly grateful that Live4Evan can help provide affordable, temporary housing for Heart families when they need it most.

Together, Team Live4Evan raised more than $133,000 to help provide CHD families with temporary, affordable housing while traveling to Boston for their child’s care. We are so grateful for everyone who ran, donated, cheered us on and helped make this day so special!

Falmouth Road Race weekend is here! On Sunday, our incredible team of 50 runners will take on the course, and we could not be more proud to have them representing Live4Evan.

This team has been working hard—training, fundraising, and preparing to give it their all as they run for all of our Heart Warriors and their families. ❤️

Today, we’re excited to introduce our next Falmouth Road Race pairing: Lizzie and Nolan! 💙

Lizzie is a nurse in the Acute Cardiac Care Unit (ACCU) at Boston Children’s Hospital, where she cares for children with congenital heart disease, including her patient, Nolan. Through her work, she sees firsthand the challenges families face when they must temporarily relocate for their child’s care.

Today, we’re introducing our next Falmouth Road Race pairing: Jake and Clara! 💗🏃‍♂️

Jake is a dedicated friend and supporter of Live4Evan. He recently spearheaded our first annual Live4Evan Golf Tournament, raising more than $5,000 to support families facing congenital heart disease!

Clara was diagnosed prenatally with multiple congenital heart defects, including congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries, as well as heterotaxy syndrome.

After undergoing her first open-heart surgery shortly after birth, complications required a second emergency surgery. Seeking specialized care, Clara’s family traveled from Maryland to Boston Children’s Hospital, where she underwent two additional open-heart surgeries. We were honored to provide Clara’s family with temporary, affordable housing during their time in Boston.

Meet our next Falmouth Road Race pairing: Dave and Harrison! 💙🏃‍♂️

Dave is a longtime Live4Evan supporter, Board Member and our Falmouth Team Captain!

Harrison was diagnosed prenatally with a rare congenital heart defect called CCTGA, affecting just 1 in 33,000. At just 5 weeks old, he underwent his first heart surgery, followed shortly after by a second surgery to receive a permanent pacemaker. Today, Harrison is in complete heart block, making his pacemaker critical to keeping his heart beating.

We’re so grateful that Live4Evan was able to provide Harrison’s family with temporary, affordable housing during their time in Boston. Having a place to rest and recharge just minutes from the hospital made an incredible difference during an unimaginably difficult time.
