Chapter 39. 🌸

What these years have taught me is that there’s bravery in allowing yourself to be seen and heard. And when we choose to do that intentionally, it makes all the difference.

I’m deeply grateful for the people who have created that space for me, and for the clients who trust me enough to let me witness their stories, growth, and becoming. It’s a privilege I never take lightly.

To be seen is powerful. To feel heard is transformative. And to offer that to one another is one of life’s greatest gifts.

Here’s to 39 years of growing into myself and continuing to live intentionally. 🙏🏽

Start by keeping a log of how many times you have exerted your attention and energy to your Imposter thoughts today. Collect the data to add more awareness for yourself. How many times a day, a week, a month do you divert your focus? It definitely adds up.

I get it, your intentions are genuine when you don't want to give off the wrong impression to others and be an imposter. In response to a compliment, you try to paint the full picture and share your internal turmoil to make sure you're not "fooling" anyone. Even though it seems like a default reaction, you are choosing to put your focus and energy into providing an accurate perception of you to others rather than intentionally questioning the accuracy of your own self-perception, which is laser-focused on your self-limiting beliefs.

👉🏽A starting point to create more self-awareness around this is just accepting that neither one is a complete representation of you. Not only are others not seeing your full experience, but focusing on this inaccuracy keeps you from creating an accurate self-perception for yourself.
