The Power of Heels 👠

I am often asked why do I wear heels everyday. My heels are also a point of topic for many of ladies that I care for.

Did you know high heels symbolizes femininity, elegance, confidence and power?

Heels actually alters your posture and accentuates the natural arch of your back. They give the perception of attractiveness and as soon as you put them on, it immediately boosts your self-esteem.

The height of the heel creates assertiveness and power persona.

As a Provider who primarily cares for women, my heels symbolizes the beauty that I see every day in the many women I care for.

I wear the heels because my mother wore heels and she was the most beautiful and elegant lady that I had the privilege of caring fo. So I wear them in her memory and honor.

The next time you put on a pair of heels, arch your back, stand tall, fix your crown and know your are the most beautiful woman in the world.

This is Chapter 53!

Today, I celebrate me and everything I have been able to accomplish with God's help. I celebrate life and all the many hats I wear on a daily basis. I celebrate the journey to the woman I have become today.

I celebrate every imperfection, stretch mark, gray hair, muffin top, wrinkle and blemish.

As a woman, when I look in the mirror I see everything I would like to change. What seems like imperfections to me are battle scars of the journey of my life. I am learning to embrace it.

Today I celebrate me as the wife, mother, sister, daughter, best friend, provider, business owner, nurseboss and women's health advocate .

WOMEN'S HEALTH MATTERS

5 years ago this month I opened NP On Call, right in the middle of Covid. It was created with women's health needs in mind and the goal was to advocate and care for women.

It was a telehealth practice and I had no idea at the time what God had planned for me and my practice.

As I begin to see women and take care of their needs, they would always ask if I could see thei husband's and adolescent children and I did.

Patients began to ask me to do things that I needed to open an actual brick and mortar and 7 weeks after we lost our dad, that's exactly what I did.

With no investors or loans, I stepped out in faith with the words of my father. "If God calls you to a task, he gives you everything you need to be successful".

I stood and continue to stand on that principle.

Np On Call has evolved to Fiducia Health & Wellness, a thriving, top 3 clinic in Owasso with Gods help.

I started with a handful of patients to over 1800 patients in our practice.

I boast in Christ alone, and without him, I would be nothing.

5 years may not seem like much, but to a small business in Owasso, Oklahoma, its a BIG ACCOMPLISHMENT!

Many things about tomorrow, I don't seem to understand, but I know who hold tomorrow and I know who holds my hand.

I may not be sure of the future, but I am confident with God at the center of this practice, FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION.

To the women, I have been able to touch, it has been indeed my honor and my commitment is to continue to provide exceptional care and advocate for you.

A huge thank you to my hubby, Greg who held it down for Val this week. He jumped in at the last minute to take care of all the front and back office needs.

He answered phones, scheduled appointments, roomed patients, collected co-pays, dealt with insurance and made sure rooms and clinic was cleaned.

He addressed me as "Boss Lady" and kept it very professional! The patient's who had the pleasure of interacting with him thought he did an amazing job.

Thank you Baby for a job well done. I may hire you full-time in the future.

Fiducia Health & Wellness has been voted the TOP 3 Medical Clinic in Owasso for 2025 and 2026.

What a true blessing from the Lord and he gets all the glory!

As an NP-Owned practice, there is so much work that goes into doing what we do. There are no days off and its 24 hours of patient care. This is the ministry God has given to me and I'm truly blessed to serve in this capacity.
