Editha House is committed to being the first choice in Arizona’s medical community and the recognized

Editha House was established November 2011 to provide affordable lodging for adult cancer patients and their adult caregivers traveling to Phoenix, AZ for medical treatment. We are conveniently located in Central Phoenix, close to many of the Valley’s preeminent medical centers. Our house consists of sixteen guestrooms with private bathrooms and kitchens. Besides the private areas, we have two com

munity television lounges and a community kitchen/dining area. Outside the house we feature a large patio area and private parking. All together we offer 10,750 square feet of serene living space.

A Heartfelt Farewell

Today, we celebrate two very special people who have given so much of themselves to Editha House. ❤️

This year, we said goodbye to Danny, who retired in June, and today we celebrate Cristina, who officially begins her retirement.

For years, Danny and Cristina have been part of the heart of Editha House. Their time, dedication, kindness, and commitment have touched so many families who have walked through our doors.

Editha House is more than a building—it is a place of comfort, compassion, and community. People like Danny and Cristina are a huge part of what makes it feel like home. 🏡❤️

While we are certainly going to miss seeing them around the house, we are so happy for them as they begin this next chapter. We hope retirement brings them plenty of time to relax, enjoy their families, make new memories, and do all the things they’ve been waiting for.

Sometimes, it’s the little moments that make a house feel like home. 🧩💗

One of our guests recently spent some time in our community area putting together a puzzle. A simple afternoon activity, but a beautiful reminder of what we hope Editha House provides — a comfortable place to stay, a welcoming community, and spaces where our guests can relax, connect, and enjoy a little normalcy during a difficult season.

At Editha House, we want our guests to feel like they’re more than just a patient or a family member of a patient. We want them to feel at home. 🏡

Because sometimes, a puzzle, a cup of coffee, a friendly conversation, or simply getting out of your room for a little while can make all the difference.

Arizona really is something special.

Had to share a little reminder of just how beautiful this place can be — especially when the sunsets decide to show off. The cacti, the mountains, the desert colors, and those pink, peach, and lavender skies… there’s truly nothing like an Arizona sunset.

Meet 🌸Amanda🌸!

Director of Community Relations, Volunteers and Guest Services.

New to the Editha House team this year, Amanda brings with her more than 14 years of experience working at Phoenix Children’s Hospital and a deep passion for helping others through their journeys.

She comes to work each day ready to serve—with a smile, a caring heart, and a “whatever it takes” attitude. Amanda is always willing to jump in wherever she’s needed to help ensure Editha House runs smoothly and, most importantly, that our guests and families feel supported and cared for.

We are so grateful to have her on our team and can’t wait for you to get to know her!
