Brittany brings experience in early childhood education, teaching, and administration, as well as her perspective as a parent of a child with special needs. She especially enjoys building relationships with families and educators, understanding the needs behind challenging behaviors, and sharing practical strategies to support children.

Outside of work, Brittany enjoys spending time with her family. We’re excited to have her on the Project ACT team!

Please join us in welcoming Yasneris Gonzalez to our team! Yasneris joined our Healthy Families Baltimore County program as a Bilingual Family Support Specialist.

Yasneris is passionate about empowering families, creating safe spaces, and helping people feel seen and supported. She believes compassion and guidance can make a difference in a family’s journey.

Outside of work, Yasneris runs a small family 3D-printing business, reminding her that creativity and connection can build something truly meaningful.

🍼A Quick Reminder About Safe Bottle Feeding

Feeding time is a wonderful opportunity to connect with your baby. A few simple practices can help keep bottle feeding safe.

When bottle feeding:
• Hold your baby and the bottle during feedings.
• Keep your baby in a semi-upright position.
• Never prop a bottle with a pillow, blanket, or other object.
• Watch your baby’s cues and allow breaks as needed.
• Always supervise your baby while they are eating.

Propping a bottle can increase the risk of choking, aspiration, ear infections, and overfeeding. Holding babies during feeding also gives caregivers the opportunity to notice their cues and enjoy that important time together.

Safe feeding is about more than nutrition. It’s also about connection, comfort, and keeping little ones safe!
