Did you know paying cash for bloodwork or imaging can sometimes cost less than going through insurance? This is where I’m your navigator. For a practice that doesn’t bill insurance I’m surprised how much I am on the phone with insurance companies as your advocate. This was something I really enjoy.💡
Many people assume using insurance is always the cheapest route. But if you haven’t met your annual deductible, paying a direct cash rate at independent facilities can save you.
This is where Direct Primary Care (DPC) shines.
While DPC practices use a simple monthly membership for primary care, they also act as your personal guide for the rest of the healthcare system:
✨ Finding Savings: We can connect you with transparent, wholesale cash rates for labs and scans.
✨ Smart Choices: This allows you to weigh cash prices against your deductible so you always get the best value.
✨ Seamless Coordination: We manage referrals and authorizations when you see in-network specialists.
✨If something is denied we can dig into the why.
Healthcare transparency makes a world of difference.

Can’t find a primary care provider accepting new patients in our town right now? You’re not alone—and there’s a reason for it.
Healthcare is experiencing a massive primary care provider (P*P) crisis. P*Ps in the corporate insurance system are forced to see 20–30+ patients a day, leaving them burnt out and leaving patients waiting 3 to 6 months for a 10 minute appointment.
That is why Direct Primary Care (DPC) has officially become a nationwide movement. 🩺✨

Here is what you need to know about how DPC works—and why establishing your care now matters:
1️⃣ It’s a Legitimate, Local Small Business 🏠
DPC strips away corporate insurance middlemen. Instead of unpredictable bills, co-pays, and hidden fees, you pay a simple monthly membership—just like a gym membership or streaming service. That fee covers unlimited primary care, routine visits, direct phone/text access to your provider, and in office labs.
2️⃣ It Prevents P*P Burnout & Addresses the Care Model 🌿
Instead of a provider carrying 2,000–3,000 patients, a DPC office caps their entire practice at a few hundred or whatever they are comfortable with. This reform allows providers to actually spend 60+ minutes with you, practice real medicine, create prevention plans, and keep providers from leaving the field altogether.
3️⃣ Why Acting Early is Good ⏳
Because DPC practices strictly cap their membership numbers to guarantee same day or next day access, spots are limited. Once a local DPC practice hits capacity, their panel closes. With the P*P shortage on the rise this model will continue to grow. Waiting until you are sick or in an emergency to look for a provider means facing long waitlists across the board.
Your health shouldn’t depend on an insurance pre-approval or a 10 minute rushed visit.  DPC is bringing back good school medicine the way it should be.

📍 We’re proud to bring personalized, affordable, small-business primary care to South County.

Why did Kyle Wardle, APRN, choose Direct Primary Care (DPC)? One word: time. ⏱️

Traditional healthcare often feels like a race against the clock. By stepping away from insurance driven constraints, First Track Primary Care allows Kyle to flip the script. DPC means longer appointments, deeper conversations, and a provider patient relationship built on truly listening to your needs—never rushing you out the door.
Better health starts with better relationships. Welcome to primary care the way it was meant to be. 🩺✨

Wait, you get your lab results before you even leave the office? 🩸⏱️

That’s right! Here’s Kyle breaking down how our in office Piccolo Xpress analyzer turns what used to be a days long wait into same day answers during your appointment.
Here is how simple it is:
Step 1: A Quick Sample 🩸
Just a few drops of blood—that’s all it takes. No giant vials or unnecessary stress.
Step 2: The Disc Magic 💿
We load your sample into a self-contained, single-use reagent disc designed specifically for the test panel your provider ordered (like a routine metabolic panel).
Step 3: Centrifugal Precision 🌀
Inside the Piccolo Xpress, the disc spins at high speeds. Centrifugal force separates the blood plasma and mixes it with built-in liquid reagents.
Step 4: Optical Reading 💡
The analyzer uses multi wavelength absorbance to read chemical reactions in real time, running automatic quality checks to ensure total accuracy.
Step 5: Results in 12 Minutes 📋
Before your visit is even over, Kyle has clear, accurate results in hand—meaning you leave with a real plan.
Faster results mean faster care.
