We are so excited to announce another team member to Grace Midwifery team - Denyse Phelps, Clare Muczynski, Annette McManigle and I are so thrilled to have her compassion, expertise, servant-leadership, and love of serving to join us for births where the family wants, desires, needs a doula! She will also be offering our childbirth classes - to our clients, and to the public, so stay tuned and help me welcome Laura Ricketts with FiLumena Life Solutions - Laura Ricketts !

Laura has been serving families in the Shenandoah Valley and surrounding areas as a Birth Doula and a Bereavement Doula since 2014. She is also a Resiliency Coach specializing in healing from trauma and grief, new parenthood, and life transitions.

Married for over two decades, Laura and her husband have 4 adult children, a son in law and a daughter in law on earth and eight children awaiting them in Eternity. Laura is looking forward to offering childbirth education classes at The Cottage and
continuing to support and encourage families as they grow.

In her spare time, Laura can be found out on the water kayaking, reading, or gardening. Her favorite activity is hanging out with her husband in their home in the mountains of northern Frederick County. Learn more about Laura at filumenalife.com.
