Do you have an oncology scar you'd like treated?

Sarah, Kim & Kylie are attending an oncology scar training course next month. On the afternoon of Day 2 (Sunday 26th July) is a FREE out-patient clinic to allow therapists to practice their skills.

If you're interested in "donating" your body... and scar(!), then please reach out to Oncology Massage Training via email: [email protected] to register.

There are limited appointment spots - please note, you'll need to email Oncology Massage training not ourselves to book on this outpatient clinic.

If you are interested, but not available for the outpatient clinic, Sarah, Kim & Kylie will need to complete 2 x case studies after the course. Reach out to your therapist at your next appointment to see if you would be a good fit for a case study.

SOZO body composition scans...

We use SOZO technology for tracking lymphoedema.

If you're at risk of lymphoedema, scanning can pick it up early, allowing you to make the necessary changes to manage this.

A pre-surgery or pre-cancer treatment scan provides a "baseline" measurement to compare against your post-intervention results.

L-Dex: tracks your "at risk" limb for changes that may indicate your lymphoedema is worsening, even before they are visually noticeable.

Body Composition: gives extra information about total body water and how much is "inside + outside" the cells; skeletal muscle mass, and body fat.

Segmental Analysis: what ratios of body water and skeletal mass are in your limbs.

We thought it was about time we reintroduced ourselves. Lymph Movement Studio was founded by Kylie Bradley to provide a space for "fluidy" folk to receive care, whilst also providing a collaborative work space for other practitioners who are focused on lymphatics and oncology care.

Kylie Bradley (Love Ya Lymph) - Clinic Founder, Clinical Nutritionist, Lymphoedema Practitioner & Remedial Massage Therapist. A Casley-Smith trained therapist and Metabolic Balance practitioner, passionate about personalised nutritional support for pre-op preparations and long term health.

Sarah Hughes (Quintessential Care) - Lymphoedema Practitioner, Oncology Massage Therapist & Remedial Massage Therapist. A Casley-Smith trained therapist who's also a whizz with a laser!

After an 18 month hiatus, Kylie's has reopened her Hahndorf home-based clinic on WEDNESDAYS for both MLD and Nutrition consultations.

Note: HICAPS won't be available at Hahndorf so if you are wanting to claim your appointment with your private health fund, you'll be provided with an invoice to claim directly with your provider on payment of your appointment.

Yesterday was World Lymphoedema Day, and I joined my fellow SA Lymphoedema Association Australia working group members for a fabulous evening of food and friendship.

We headed out after dinner to check out the buildings lit in blue for lymphoedema awareness.
