Over the years, Heal Oasis has continued to evolve, and recently the logo has evolved with it.

The original logo has always meant a great deal to me, so this was never about creating something new.- It was about refining something that I already loved.

The lotus remains at its heart.
In both Ayurveda and Buddhism it reminds us that growth doesn't happen because life is free from difficulty, but because we learn to grow through it.
Like the lotus that rises from the mud to blossom untouched by it, each of us has the capacity to transform through life's challenges.
Ayurveda seeks not simply to relieve symptoms, but to support that natural transformation back towards harmony and wholeness.

The flowing nāda is perhaps the most personal part of the logo. Rooted in my own spiritual practice, it is a reminder of the source from which all appearances arise.
Beneath the busyness of everyday life lies a deeper stillness and spaciousness.
I believe that when we create the right conditions, the body and mind naturally move back towards balance.
That understanding sits at the heart of Heal Oasis.

Hidden within the design are jewels, inspired by my daily Heart Jewel practice. They represent compassion and wisdom.

One of the most profound teachings I received during my Ayurvedic training was that compassion is essential to healing.
It continues to shape the way I listen, care and practice.

The logo has evolved because Heal Oasis has evolved.

Over the years my understanding of Ayurveda, Buddhism and the nature of healing has continued to deepen. This new design is a reflection of that journey and of the clinic Heal Oasis has become.

I've been doing my own 3-day kitchari reset before my holiday... although if I'm being completely honest, I haven't followed it quite as well as I'd planned! 🤦🏼‍♀️

So tomorrow I'm starting again.

And that's exactly what I encourage my clients to do too. One meal, one busy day or one weekend doesn't undo everything. You don't wait until Monday or next month. You simply begin again.

For me, this isn't about dieting or deprivation. It's about giving my digestion a chance to settle and easing the bloating that's crept in before I travel.

Kitchari is one of Ayurveda's simplest, most nourishing meals. Warm, comforting and easy to digest, it gives your digestive system a chance to rest.

Some of the reasons I love doing a short reset:
• Helps reduce bloating
• Gives the digestive system a rest
• Can improve energy and mental clarity
• Encourages healthier eating habits again
• Leaves you feeling lighter without feeling deprived

I'll share how I get on over the next few days... the good bits and the not-so-perfect bits too.

Has anyone else found themselves saying, "I'll start again tomorrow?" 😊

A photo I never thought I'd be able to take.

This weekend my dad and I bumped into Martin at Trinity Farm. Martin Perry, Luminologist, creator of The School of Living Lights, and one of the most unusually wonderful beacons of light I have ever known.

I have written about my Dads story before, but never the full picture. I was terrified. Not a calm practitioner. Just a frightened daughter doing the small things she could. The coconut water. The Aloe. The oils. Small acts of love dressed up as medicine, or perhaps the other way around.

When he was admitted the signals were confused.
No surgery possible.
Palliative mentioned, while in the same breath we were told 50/50.

I put out a call for prayers.

Buddhist, Hindu and Sikh friends prayed.
I recited Medicine Buddha prayers daily at his bedside.

Around the time I asked for prayers, my dad had a vision.

He found himself in an eastern country, taken through streets in a small vehicle he couldn't name, brought into a simple wooden building and placed before an eastern shrine. People working on him, fixing him. And all around, small animal-like creatures.

Such animal-like beings appear across traditions worldwide. Tibetan Buddhism, Hindu cosmology, shamanic practice. My dad had no framework for any of it. He was simply reporting what he saw.
As though something in him knew where the help was coming from.

After that, Martin began transmitting lights to aide his recovery & renewal. He never once doubted my dad would recover.
Natalie and Hugh versus the NHS, he said. David and Goliath. One day we would walk out together.

He was stretchered out of that ward at death's door. But he was alive.

I think about where I was then. A hospital ward. The consultant adamant he was dying and could never recover.

No version of the future that looked anything like a sunny Saturday at Trinity Farm.

And yet here we were.

My dad beside me. Martin waving from across the garden as if the whole thing had been arranged.

Martin always asks one question. Who are you not yet?

None of this was written yet, back on the ward. Some of it still isn't.

Thank you Martin. For every day you didn't give up on him. And on me. 🙏

When you sit close to a body that is profoundly depleted, your attention naturally narrows to what truly matters.
As I sat bewildered beside my dad during the time he was placed on end-of-life, comfort-only care, after a week of being nil by mouth with no nutritional or electrolyte support, I was forced to decide whether I truly trusted what I know about the body.

In that space, my attention was on digestion.

In Ayurveda, digestion is described as Agni, the body’s metabolic fire.
I often think of it as the pilot light.
As long as it is present, however small, there is something to support.
If it goes out, the body cannot recover.

I watched almost obsessively for signs that he was staying in this world rather than retreating, appetite, pulse, tongue quality, warmth.

What I observed was a severely weakened digestive system beginning to respond to simple hydration and nourishment: coconut water, Ayurvedic rice water (tandulodaka), gentle nutrition, alongside steady nervous-system support from massage with medicated Ayurvedic oils.
Nothing forceful.

Tiny amounts.
Simple actions.

Just basic physiology being plainly and quietly respected.

Ayurveda has many expressions, but at its heart it is a medical system, one that listens closely and intervenes gently, and which I have seen make a difference even in the most desperate of situations.

This is the first in a series of reflections drawn from clinical practice.

These facials have never been only about skincare.
The effect on the skin is there, the glow, the lift, the brightness, but the deeper work is therapeutic.

Through marma therapy, warm oils, wild crafted botanicals, massage and Kansa work, the body is helped to shift out of stress mode and into rest.

I went back for deeper training in this work earlier this year, and it's renewed how much I value giving these treatments - there's a real depth to what they can do, and I would.love to give more of these treatments.

You will leave calmer, lighter and more grounded than when you arrived. For some it's the first time they've properly relaxed in months.
There is something profoundly restorative about slowing down enough to receive this care.

From July this 90-minute treatment will be £120. If you've been meaning to book, the current price of £75 holds until the end of June 🌿
